#CrateWedding 101: Inside a Special Private Registry Event

Ready to start planning your wedding? Crate and Barrel Wedding Registry Expert Coartney Zimmerman sat down with one of our favorite wedding and event planners, Shannon Gail of Shannon Gail Weddings and Events, to share our recent Private Registry Event with special guests 100 Layer Cake.

What were your favorite things from this event?

One, we partnered with some really talented local vendors here in the Chicagoland area to absolutely fill the store with beautiful wedding ideas to inspire our couples as they created their Gift Registries. I mean, we had a donut truck AND hotdog cart - very Chicago!

We also created three distinct tabletop styles inspired by our favorite stemware collections to help couples take their wedding decor up a notch. It also helps couples envision how to incorporate some of the pieces into their everyday life.

What is the benefit of coming to a Private Registry Event?

Private Registry Events are a great way to enjoy VIP access to the stores and gain one-on-one advice and assistance from Crate and Barrel associates as you build and curate your wedding registry surrounded by fellow engaged couples. Our “Plus” events offer the addition of fun, interactive inspiration from local wedding professionals in your area. They are a wonderful way to spend the morning with your fiancé and prepare for your upcoming celebration!

Special thanks to all our vendors and 100 Layer Cake to making the journey all the way to Chicago!
