  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups Milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Whipped Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Instructions
Chocolate Chip Waffles
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  2. Whisk in the eggs, vanilla extract and the milk until smooth, then whisk in the melted butter. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  3. Spray the waffle maker with nonstick spray. Pour about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of batter into the waffle maker. Cook until golden and repeat with remaining batter.
  4. Serve with butter, maple syrup, peanut butter whipped cream and chocolate chips.
Peanut Butter Whipped Cream
  1. Place the cold cream in the bowl of your electric mixer. Using the whisk attachment, beat until it thickens, about 5 to 6 minutes, and peaks begin to form. Beat in the sugar and peanut butter, mixing until combined and stiff peaks have formed. This can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for a few days.
