“I love sending Christmas cards, so I decided to turn it into an occasion to remember.”

It always amazes me how just a few simple touches of greenery can instantly create a festive holiday vibe. I dressed the table with Crate and Barrel’s long needle pine garland for a simple, rustic touch. I used the Silva oval platter as the base for my envelope addressing station. I prepared an easy drink station on the buffet showcasing one of my favorite holiday cocktails—the Moscow Mule. A self-serve bar makes it easy for guests to help themselves and frees me from playing bartender!

Meanwhile, cook the pasta until al dente. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to the soup. Add the beans and a generous pinch of salt & pepper, and simmer for 5 mins. to let the soup slightly thicken. Ladle the soup into a bowl, top with grated parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil.
