Back in May, our friends in the media kicked off their shoes at our cozy Game Night and enjoyed an exclusive first look at our Fall 2015 collection.
Our talented and hardworking preview team transformed a young family’s NoHo penthouse and rooftop terrace into “our house” in just more than 24 hours, showcasing new-for-fall favorites as well as Crate and Barrel classics. Take a peek.
“Our house” offered inspired design solutions around every corner, featuring the latest from our fall furniture collection, accented with cozy seasonal accessories and highlights from our entertaining and kitchenwares collections. While they explored, guests embraced our casual night “in,” complete with refreshing cocktails, delicious noshes and lively games in every room.
In between sips and bites, we exchanged ideas on fall trends, including one of our favorite new entertaining combos: copper and wood. We love the sophisticated glow that copper adds to any fall setting. It’s especially beautiful in company with on-trend indigo or charcoal gray.
These graphic appetizer plates were a hit and added a fun retro vibe to our party.
Tip: When mixing patterns, find one common thread, such as a color or a texture, that ties all the pieces together. This will create a rich and cohesive look.
As guests took in each new discovery, they shared their excitement about their collection favorites with our hosts and on social media using #CratePreview.
We all took turns trying our luck at table tennis and cards, but made plenty of time for lounging and conversation on our comfy sofas by the fire.
Guests enjoyed meeting our spokesdog, Telly the Labrador, who demonstrated his best party tricks.
Refreshing blackberry-infused Moscow Mules were the beverage of choice.
And popular Brooklyn caterer Poppy’s supplied delicious savory bites, temptingly arrayed under red maple branches.
Indoors and out, our cozy take on fall came warmly to life and showcased Crate and Barrel’s signature approachability and everyday ease. Every room was suffused with the glow of firelight and filled with the relaxed laughter of good friends.
Tip: When selecting a print, always start by measuring the space that you want to fill and think about your options. One large print can be a dramatic option, or you can consider grouping two or three smaller prints.
