Instructions
  1. Combine hibiscus flowers and 6 cups water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Take off heat and allow to steep for 5 to 7 minutes to release the flavor. Allow to cool.
  2. Meanwhile, combine 1 pound piloncillo with 3 cups water. Dissolve on low heat, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool.
  3. To cooled hibiscus mixture, add 8 cups water and 2 cooled cups piloncillo syrup. Stir to combine.
  4. Serve over ice. Mixture will last four days in refrigerator.

Spirit Suggestion: Top with sparkling wine at a 1:1 ratio.
