  • 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons water boiled
  • 1 cup Milk (skim, whole, soy or almond milk will work)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions
  1. Add the matcha powder and hot water to a latte mug and whisk vigorously until the matcha is fully dissolved.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat whisk together the milk, honey and vanilla extract. Heat the milk to a gentle simmer.
  3. Remove from heat and use a hand blender to create a touch of froth if desired.
  4. Pour the frothed milk over the matcha base. Top with whipped cream & a pinch of matcha powder!
