Navy Nursery Inspiration

September 14, 2017

Choosing a deep navy hue as the primary tone for a girl’s nursery design can offer an exciting opportunity to explore a unique combination of complementary colors and patterns. See below for some navy nursery inspiration!

Bold scalloped wallpaper acts as the primary statement for the design with supporting hues through the room decor. Warm rosy hues balance out the cooler blues and achieve a sense of homeostasis in the design. I love the textured floral details in the Floral Rush crib quilt and velvety softness of the cheeky Hello throw pillow.

For the larger pieces in the room, neutral greys, whites, and wood tones keep the room soft and could easily be repurposed down the road in a second nursery with a completely different color scheme.

Happy Styling!
