Curated Comfort

August 16, 2013

Beth Dotolo, Co-Owner & Principal Interior Designer at Pulp Design Studios took on a fashion-forward business owner as their client in Dallas, Texas. Due to the nature of their business and the fact that she and her husband were expecting her first child, this client’s residence had to be completed with the utmost of style, on a budget, and completed in a hurry… No small feat!

As far as inspiration Beth shares:

“We began planning the nursery before the couple knew what gender the baby was (which ended up being a boy). But, either way, we didn’t want to be gimmick-y or very gender specific. We designed the space with a palette of creams, navy, beige, brown and white rather than pastel pinks and blues. We wanted it to be modern and unique to set the style, but have enough whimsy to be stimulating. The result is a soothing nursery, with a subtle animal theme, that the baby can grow with and age into.”
