Autumn-Themed Care Package

If your child has a friend who’s about to move away, why not make them a correspondence kit so that they can keep in touch?  (Did we mention that it’s a great way to practice writing and spelling skills as well?)  Or your child can make one and give it to one of their friends as a thoughtful and homemade birthday gift.

Here’s what you’ll need from Paper Source to make a correspondence kit.  We made ours fall-themed:

  1. Cut the note cards into the shapes of leaves and use the woodgrain stamp to create faux bois envelopes.
  2. Pack your new stationery set in a box mailer finished with some ivory shredded paper.
  3. Feel free to add a few extra surprises that you know the recipient will love!  We threw in fox and acorn stickersgelly roll pens, a set of the loveliest autumn hair clips from Mini Marche and a bookmark by one of our favorite illustrators.

There are so many ways to personalize your kit and show your friend that you’re thinking of them and that you remember their favorite things!
