#CelebrateTuesday and Everyday

At Nod we believe in “celebrating Tuesday”.  What that means is enjoying the everyday: reveling in the chaos of a weeknight – dinner needs to be had, baths need to be taken, the house is in shambles and you have an impromptu dance party or your 4 year old tells the most hilarious joke.  This is what family is all about.  Everyone tells new parents to enjoy their babies because it goes so fast, this may sound so cliche, but it is the wholehearted truth.  In a blink your children are grown and those little moments along with a fleeting childhood.

So slowdown everyone, don’t worry about the chores and the expectations and just embrace the chaos – trust me, you’ll be so glad you did.  So celebrate Tuesday and for that matter Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, too.

Michelle is the mother to four kids (yes, FOUR!), a gourmet cook and a retail junky. She’s painted her dining room countless times and changes rugs like most people change their bedsheets. When she’s not living and breathing retail, she’s weaving amazing works of art with her sister for Bourbon+Gin Weaving.
