DIY Easter Garland

Post by Sara Walk of Tell Love and Party
I sure do love Easter decor. The colors are always so bright and cheery, making me fall in love with Spring all over again. And this carrot garland does just that. It’s such a fun and springy way to decorate for Easter. Your kids will love it!
Supplies
-
Orange Cardstock
-
Scissors
-
Tape
-
Bakers Twine
-
Green Tissue Paper
-
Small Hole punch
Directions
-
Cut the card stock into 4 square shapes then curl each piece into a cone shape and tape it closed.
-
Cut off the point of the cone then punch holes in two sides of the cone so you can string them onto the bakers twine.
-
Now cut two thin strips of tissue paper (I used two different green colors) then lay them on top of each other and fold them up.
-
Cut fringe into the square but be sure not cut all the way through.
-
Then take the part that you didn’t cut and start to twist making the fringe bunch together.
-
Take the fringe and tape it to the inside of your already strung carrots.
Hang and you are done! Happy Easter decorating!
