This DIY watercolor masking art is a great craft project for the kids of all ages, and it’s practically fool proof! Perfect for a Mother’s Day gift, just use your tape to spell out MOM and you’ve got yourself a gift!

Materials needed

• Watercolors
• Watercolor paper
• Paint brush
• Painters tape (0.5 inch is my favorite)
• Scissors optional

Directions

1. Tape where you want white to appear
2.  Paint the whole piece of paper
3.  Wait until the paint has completely dried – then carefully peel off the tape
