DIY Dream Catcher Mobile
Written by Angie Ramirez of Little Inspiration
I have always wanted a dream-catcher and now that the Land of Nod California Dreamin’ collection is out, it inspired me to create a dream catcher mobile. With only a few materials, and super easy steps, you can re-create your very own dream catcher mobile; perfect for any room of your home.
What you will need
– One 10inch Metal Gold Ring (purchased at Hobby Lobby for $1)
– Gold thin Ribbon
– Fishing Rod
– White Feathers
– Gold Paint
– One Thumb Pin
First Step: Paint the tip of the feathers with gold paint. Let dry completely.
Second Step: Get a long piece of gold ribbon and begin tying the end of the ribbon as shown below. Tie the ribbon across to the other side of the ring and repeat.
Third Step: Tie as you go along crossing over the ring to form a scattered pattern.
Fourth Step: Hot Glue the tips of the feathers to both ends of a piece of twine and tie to the dream-catcher ring. Adjust each twine to your desired length.
Attach two long pieces of fishing line to each side of the dream catcher ring. Tie all ends in the center and then tie to a thumb pin. Use a thump pin to attach to the ceiling.
