Cozy Up Your Home for Fall

Here in Chicago, the weather is (finally) chilly and we’re ready to cozy up with apple cider and our kids on the couch. As we’re bringing out our fall sweaters and boots, we’re also prepping our homes for cozy nights.

Creating a welcoming and warm home only takes adding a few comfy elements throughout your home.

• Mixing textures (think layering a fluffy rug on top of a cotton one) creates a cozy environment.
• Add throw blankets to couches and beds for extra warmth.
• Swap out throw pillows and add anything plaid, cushy and festive.
• And in your bedrooms, swap out cotton sheets for flannel sheets. There’s nothing like hopping into a warm bed on a cool night.
