Fox & Sparrow Photo Workshop

We couldn’t help but notice all the amazing magic the ladies of The Fox and the Sparrow have been making on the Instagram universe with their modern take on photographing women and children. We were so excited to see that they were headed to Chicago in September to shoot some sessions, and had to ask them if they would be interested in hosting an event at our flagship store in Chicago. To our amazement, they said YES!

So a few weeks ago, the ladies set up a free mini-workshop for our customers to come in and learn tips on how to style and take beautiful pictures of their own kiddos with just a camera phone.

Rachael Lunghi from Siren Floral Co. taught our customers how easy it is to make beautiful flower crowns (Who don’t love a flower crown?).

Erika Beukelman from 1011 Makeup chatted with the ladies on ways to style their hair and makeup. And she also worked her magic on some of their hair with top knots and braids (Lucky ladies!).

Lastly, Rachel Castillero from Studio Castillero gave the workshop attendees tips on shooting with their camera, including some awesome tutorials on the VSCO application.
