Halloween Decorating DIY Projects

The best part about this time of year is that Halloween festivities span the entire month of October. From hosting ghoulish kids parties to making creepy Halloween treats, what would be a better way to celebrate the spirit of Fall than with kid-friendly Halloween decorating DIY projects.
If you are looking for easy Halloween DIYs to do with your little ones, look no further than Spooky Eye Halloween Cards and Milk Jar Mummies. Both DIYs require little instruction and your little one can make them all by themselves.
Spooky Eye Halloween Cards
For Spooky Eye Halloween Cards you will need black cardstock, glue, googly eyes, a ruler, scissors, and a metallic pen.
First, using your ruler, trace a 6 x 8 inch rectangle onto the black cardstock and cut out with scissors. Next, fold in half.
Write your spooky Halloween message on the inside of the card.
Place a small drop of glue on the back of your googly eyes and secure them to your card. Add as many as you would like and help your little one deliver these to all their friends!
Milk Jar Mummies
To make Milk Jar Mummies you will need mini milk jars, gauze, googly eyes and glue.
Begin by putting a small dot of glue at the top of the milk jar and place one end of the gauze over it.
Next, wrap the gauze around the milk jar until it is completely covered. To keep the gauze secure, rip off excess gauze and glue the edge down in place.
For the finishing touch, glue the googly eye on the front and place them around the house for ghoulish décor!
