Milk and Cookies, and a Giant Book

What’s more cozy than an enormously good book with a side of milk and cookies?  This story is not only sweet, but incredibly gorgeous with hand appliquéd and embroidered artwork by Michelle Romo.  Avery enjoyed this special story time with I’m So Glad You’re Here along with a glass of milk and Speculoos cookies.  We changed things up a bit from the usual snack routine and dipped the Speculoos in semi-sweet chocolate and finished them off with a sprinkling of salty pretzel bits.  There is one added bonus with this work of art: if all that milk makes you a wee bit drowsy, well, you have a blanket for a short snooze!
