Peanut Butter Valentine’s Day Panda Chow

Say adios to puppy chow and hello to panda chow! We skipped the traditional Chex and used Peanut Butter Panda Puffs Cereal, and since it already contains peanut butter we got to skip that messy step found in puppy chow. We mixed in festive red, pink and white candy from Oriental Trading, used our best pink scoopers and filled bright pink popcorn boxes to the brim. Once we added an adorable Valentine’s Day note we sent them on their way. There’s nothing like sending a little homemade love out into the universe!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 Cups Peanut Butter Panda Puffs Cereal
- 2 Cups White Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Red Velvet Cake
- 2 Tablespoons Crisco
- 1 Cup Chocolate Candy Assortment
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Split the cereal evenly into two separate bowls.
- Pour the powdered sugar into one bag and the red velvet cake mix into the other.
- Melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of Crisco in the microwave for one minute, mix and pour into the bag of cereal with the powdered sugar; shake to combine. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to dry.
- Melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of Crisco in the microwave for one minute, mix and pour into the bag of cereal with the red velvet cake mix; shake to combine. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to dry.
- Once both mixes dry, mix in the chocolate candy and serve!
