The Story

Designer Chris Mestdagh gives classic herringbone a global reach, incorporating elements of Polynesia basket-weaving motifs to create a dynamic, clean pattern. Crafted of polypropylene, this rug is a great choice for indoor or outdoor use as it's stain- and soil-resistant, and UV stable.

Butler Chevron Indoor-Outdoor 6x9 Rug is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Perfect... until it fell apart. I had an experience identical to suewren's: we've had the carpet for two months, and the threads are separating from the hem at the end. It's odd, too, because the affected side of the carpet has been under a couch in our low-traffic, pet-free living room most of the time.As much as we've loved the carpet, it is of inexcusably poor quality given the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool, hardy rug This rug has an understated, but cool pattern. We actually ended up using this under our dining table because we have a toddler who spills a lot. It's still fairly rough though, so I wouldn't recommend it for indoor use where you're sitting or walking barefoot a lot. But works great for our purposes, and would be good outdoors.
