Worthwhile purchase
I was extremely pleased with the simplicity of design. The terrarium would be appropriate in both modern and traditional settings. The enclosure was the perfect "frame" for a hand-crafted floral piece from a local artist. I was searching for something that would not detract from the quality of the enclosed artwork and this was just right.
The only negative - the exterior fine wires that define the panes are difficult to dust.

Loved this terrarium
We bought this product for my mother-in-law for Easter and filled it with plants and bunnies. She loved it and can change the inside when she wants to.

I love the look of this terrarium. When I got it I could see that it was made well. I put succulent plants, in pots in it and it looks great!

Not for actual plants
If you want to put fake plants in a fake terrarium this is a cute (if pricy) display option...but unfortunately it doesn't really work as a legitimate terrarium. I received it as a gift and am trying to make it work; the tray is almost too shallow to actually plant anything, it is not watertight, and the top is not hinged.

Lovely product
I saw this in the store and thought it was beautiful - it's well built, substantive and really does have a classic conservatory look about it. When a local garden center offered classes in creating terrariums, I purchased it and used it as as a planter. As you're not supposed to water terrariums frequently I've had no issues with leakage. Very happy with this purchase, would recommend!

Love but...
I love this Terrarium..but I wish the top opened up so that you could actually use it as a terrarium...with dirt in it. As it is you would have to calk the bottom and leave the top so you can remove it to water the plants.

Lovely, but with a design flaw
Just love the dainty design of this terrarium and the little bird on top is what sold me. It would, however, be a much more practical design if the roof were hinged so the entire top piece didn't need to be lifted off each time to water. An artificial plant / flower or some other type of decorative item inside seems to be the solution. Nonetheless, I have no regrets with this purchase - it's charming and unique.

Great for plants, but not watertight
One of my finance's favorite items on our registry, we just received this and it makes a wonderful addition to our home. We were hoping to be able to use it as a full terrarium (grow moss, etc) but it probably won't work for this use as it's not watertight. However, we are displaying succulents in it now, on our coffeetable, and it's a wonderful conversation starter.

can hardly wait to get my new plants
The terrarium will look great once I get it filled. I thought I was buying real plants like the ones pictured on-line. Well guys, they turned out to be plastic and not very good looking plastic at that. I am so disappointed! However, I love the terrarium. The only downside is that you cannot easily pick it up.
