I love this lamp. It is a little bit overpriced but I guess you are paying for the name. Robert Abbey makes fine quality lamps.

Gorgeous mercury glass look
When we purchased the Faulkner media console, we chose this lamp to go on top. What a beautiful contrast between the mirrored/mercury glass finish of the lamp and the slightly rustic dark wood of the console. It completely transformed the whole corner of the room. We put a framed mirror over the console, and the lamp is reflected in it for twice the impact. Love this lamp!

Looks great!!
I bought this lamp for my dining area in my apartment. It sits on top of a buffet and looks fantastic!! The only complaint I have is that the shade sits a bit crooked so from certain angles, it does not look straight. Luckily, I have it against a window and a wall on the side so you really only see it straight on and I can adjust it so it looks straight. If you need it for a table in the middle of a room or a place where you can see if from several angles, you may want to think about it twice. Go to the store and check it out! The finish is great though - looks more expensive than it is and the shape is really beautiful!!

This is a great lamp. So much more amazing in person, especially when lit. I bought this to go next to my couch. This would also be great as bedside lamps if you wanted the mirrored effect. Mirrored furniture is pretty expensive so this is a cheaper way to kind of achieve that. The harp does not seem symmetrical so when you put the lampshade on it's a bit crooked. I will probably try bending the harp a bit.
Overall not too bad of a price for a lamp and the shade.

Gorgeous lamp
This lamp is beautiful and substantial enough to be a decorating focal point. I bought it for a room which doesn't get a lot of light, so the mirrored surface really brightens everything up. Only one complaint--we can't seem to get the shade to sit straight--whatever that piece is that holds up the shade isn't perfectly flat on top. If we can't figure out how to fix it ourselves, we'll have to exchange that part. So for now, we have a crooked lampshade, which is annoying. Still love the piece, though.

Loved them
They are really so much more than I thought they were going to be. They are very substantial and look amazing on my nightstands. The mirror reflects the light and really brightens up my room whether the light is on or off. They look much more expensive than are.

WOW!
We purchased two of these as bedside table lamps for our bedroom, which we just refurnished with Vendome furniture from C&B! They add glamour and interest and a certain "pop" to the dark-toned furniture--just the look we desired! At night they look both dramatic and welcoming. In the daytime, their sparkle is uplifting everything I glance into the room from the hallway. Perfect!

Gorgeous Chubby Lamp!
I purchased a Haley lamp without having seen it in person. It is so much more beautiful and stylish in person! I purchased one to check it out but now I'm going to pick up another one. They'll go on each side of my sofa. Who knew the "chubby" lamp would look so glamorous in person! The only negative thing I have to say is about the shade (not wild about it) but, that's something I can easily replace. It would be great if C & B offered a choice of shades. I'd also like to point out that it's a great buy for the money. Comparable mercury lamps I've seen on the market have been much more expensive. This lamp will also go with a wide variety of home decor. I hope C & B keeps this one because it's definitely a classic! Change the lighting in your room and you can change the whole look of the room. I rent so I'm not able to make major changes but buying a couple of new rugs and lamps is really making a difference. I think this lamp would be perfect in a more contemporary or classic room.
Go for quality, check out estate sales, watch design shows, read home decor magazines and keep your eye on Crate & Barrel's website and catalogs for ideas that will give your home a look of its own. I've shopped at C&B for years but this is my first experience owning something other than glassware or linens, etc. The Haley lamp is very well made and I can't wait to see two of them on my new sofa (that I haven't picked out yet! :)
