Grand Butari Vase
I agree with several reviewers out there! I have owned this vase for 6 and a half years now, and it's still one of my favorite pieces. Not only was it a unique vase at the time, it's a thrill to know that this is now a Crate and Barrel classic piece. Obviously, since they've carried it for years! No- you cannot put water in the vase and the opening is narrow- but besides looking great on its own, you can fill the vase with organic branches and willow, and it will work on display all year round.

Natural Statement
I saw this in the store and ordered it. I love the material and size.

Makes a Statement
I bought this vase to use in a cut-out in the wall of our entry.
Filled it with Crate and Barrel's "Chocolate" grass and it looks WONDERFUL.
Goes very well with our decor and will be used it for years to come.

Unwieldy
While this vase is as described, I found it too large and unwieldy to fit on my dining table or shelf unit. It doesn't hold water and the opening is too narrow to fit another vase inside, so it can't hold flowers other than artificial ones. I returned it and it cost me fifteen dollars to ship it, because it is so heavy. This is an item you need to see in person before buying.

A Distinct Accent
The treatment of this vase is such a pleasure -- the multiple hues of beige, brown, and tan go with most anything! This piece blends wonderfully with our surrounding furniture, wall paint, and decor while remaining a standout accent in our home.

Unique vase
I recently purchased and received the Butari Grand Vase. The colors and texture of the vase work great on the vanity in my bathroom which is decorated in beige and chocolate brown. Looks great with the limestone tiles as well.

Vase
I like this vase because it is organic looking. It's an unusual shape and interesting to look at on a book shelf. It looks like an expensive accessory, but fairly priced.
