Really Great Glasses
I've used these glasses for YEARS and still love them. I love that they can be used for drinking or for food storage. They are great for my two young kids because the glasses are heavy and don't tip over if they get bumped. I will keep using these glasses as long as they keep making them!

Awesome Smoothie Container!
I love these Made in the U.S.A. heavy duty cups for my smoothies. The lids work great when I need to transport my smoothies from home to office. Also when I make too much, I can put the extra smoothie in a cup, cover it with a lid, put it in the fridge and save for later! Thanks Crate & Barrel!

versatile
I bought four of these working glasses with lids. My husband loves to use them as over-sized highballs (the size and weight feels good in his large hands), and I love to use them when I make smoothies. I make enough smoothie mix for two glasses, eat one right away and put the other in the working glass with lid in the freezer. I also use them as regular drinking glasses, and to store small amounts of leftovers. Perfect!

Perfect for everyday, almost every occasion use - lids are used much more frequently than we expected. Looks and feels like they''ll last forever, unlike other glasses one can by elsewhere that break if you look at them the wrong way!

working glass is right!
We have 2 kids and one vengful cat, and even they are no match for these glasses. Perfect for everything from morning juice to bedtime glass of water. These glasses are used constantly all day, every day, and they get knocked over all the time - but they are really really tough. And for the price, you can't beat them.

Practical & Useful
I had to replace my everyday beverage glassware, as over time and due to breakage, I had very few left. These particular glasses were ordered as the size was a good fit to my husband's large hand AND I felt they would stand up to the everyday usage well. Indeed, they do both those things well -- and I can use them for storing (because of the inclusion of the lid) & for microwaving small leftovers -- a definite plus! Very practical and useful purchase. The only negative is the larger-than-normal rim, but my husband is not bothered by that at all.

First purchase
This working glass is nice and durable and made in the USA (which is a plus). But I purchased several Riley wine glasses #647-261 - 11 ounce (6) and they are no longer listed online. I can see why. Three broke already. I just lifted a glass after company, and it cracked!

Love, Love, Love them.
I love my working glasses so well, it's all I will drink out of. They are absolutely my favorite. Plan to clear out all the other glasses in my cabinets and only have these. I love the small & large ones. I have not used the lids to store anything in them because I just bought 4 of each, but I will once I get some more. Highly recommend.

love these jars!
These are so perfect for refrigerator storage of dressings and sauces and such-anything really. I don't like to store food in plastic and these are so simple in design and easy to clean. Stack nicely too.

The working glass
I've been using these glasses for over 20 years and just love them. Aside from drinking, we use them for storing leftovers in the fridge. I love being able to see what's inside. Very few have broken, the ones I just ordered are replacements. There is no Crate & Barrel in knoxville, TN, so I have to order online.

Disappointed in newer version
Several years ago, I bought a set of these and loved them as soon as they came out of the box. At that time, they were made in France and had a "500" imprinted on the bottom. When I recently moved across the country, I decided to leave the glasses behind and buy a new set when I got to my destination. Unfortunately, the quality of my new glasses is not the same as that of my old ones. The rims are a particular issue. Part of the glass has a nice rolled rim while the other part has a sharper edge. I kept the glasses as they are still useful, but I really wish I had my old ones instead.

love this!
The working glass (14oz) with lid are great! The glass is heavy and the lid fits well, not too snug, not too loose. This will be a favorite for years to come. Delivery was quick and the packing perfect -- just like being back in Japan!

Little work horse !
At this price, with all the multiple favors it performs for you, why wouldn't you toss out $2.50 ?
I have used this in the microwave, refrigerated it, used it as a 'shaker' for salad dressings, kept toasted nuts tasting toasty in it, etc.
My advice, don't buy one, buy two!
