Great White Plates
Though I haven't used the plates yet, I bought them as a basic staple to numeorus patterned appetizer plates (purchased from C&B of course). They are good sized plates, as are the matching bowls. And a very bright white. I hope they'll hold up after numerous uses!

Elegant yet durable
I've had these dishes for 2.5 years and I am SO pleased with them. They still look brand new and not a single piece has broken or even chipped, even though they are quite slim and delicate looking. I love how they have retained their just-out-of-the-box sheen. We use them as our every-day plates but they are elegant enough to look at home on a table set for fine-dining. Once we chose to register for them as wedding gifts, we decided not even to bother with registering for china. They are perfect in every way, for nearly every occasion.

Love the new dishes
I had been looking for a long time for white casual dishes to replace my everyday dinnerware that is over 20 years old. I ordered service for 8 plus 4 additional dinner and salad plates in December. They have gotten high volume use from our 5 kids and the company we had over the holidays. They are holding up beautifully, no chips yet. In January I decided to order 2 serving platters and additional dinner and salad plates to bring the total count of those to 16. Looks expensive. Can dress up or down. Has held up to the dishwasher and microwave well. Most of all it is durable enough to withstand the everyday use it is getting. Love the fact that it is an open stock item so you can replace or add pieces to the set as needed. Ordered online, delivered quickly, without any broken pieces. Would highly recommend.

So disappointed!
After searching and searching and comparing at some other higher-end stores to replace my cheaper Martha Stewart dishes, I finally settled on Aspen. What a mistake! Within a short time we had serious chipping going on with the plates and bowls. Contract this to the cheaper set we gave away (!) that barely chipped after 12 years of use! We are very careful and I'm not sure if we got a bad batch or what happend but I think I should have returned them all. Now I am in the bind of whether to replace the chipped ones or just scrap them all and start again. :(

perfect, simple and classic!
My son bought me this set and it has been my kitchen staple for years. How great it was to find that I could replace 2 dinner plates sold separately from C&B! This set goes with everything and holds up well. Plates and bowls are large enough, too!

ASPEN DINNERWARE
I LOVE MY NEW DINNERWARE IN PURE WHITE, THEY CLEAN SO EASILY AND SERVE SO BEAUTIFULLY. FIRST SAW THIS SET IN MY SON'S NYC APARTMENT. I WAITED FOR THE YEAR-END SALE TO COMPLETE MY SET, AND I AM SO PLEASED! WHAT A NICE 'GIFT TO ME'!

consider something else
I had put this on my wedding registry and received the set. After barely having it for one month, the salad plates chipped. Then the dinner plate as well as the soup bowls. Surprisingly the mugs have no chips. I give it 2 stars because it's inexpensive. If you want something that lasts long, DO NOT get this set. You get what you pay for.

Beautiful, despite minor imperfections
I love this set! The simple, clean design makes it perfect for everyday use but with linens and decor, it can easily step in for more formal occasions. My only comment is that, when stacked on my shelves, I can see slight imperfections in the plate's rim.

Very Nice Casual Wear
We were looking for everyday dinnerware that was also elegant enough for use during the holidays and other special occasions. The Aspen set certainly fits this need, and we have packed up the fine china that required hand-washing. It has a rich look and feel, and its simple design and color work with all table dressings. The only negative is that the bowls are perhaps a little too deep and do not nest well in our dishwasher racks. However, they are nice for a main course of soup or chili. We have since found white porcelain bowls from another source that match exactly and snug up a bit better in the dishwasher.

Great Dinnerware!
We received a complete set of Aspen Dinnerware and we are both very pleased with the products...the dishes are sturdy and have really added to our more modern set of dishes for our home. I recommend the Aspen Brand for wedding registries.

Very durable
I've owned my set for a few years now and its solid, durable, and such a classic white design that it has yet to appear old or out of style. Highly recommend it, its well made and so classically designed that it keeps up with updates to the kitchen.

New dishes after 35 years
Purchased 3 sets. The large bowl seemed too large and low bowl too shallow in the store, but loved the size of each of them at home. Got one set with cups and saucers and two with mugs. Sometimes I want to feel special with a saucer! Mugs are a good size without being too large like so many mugs today. Handles fit comfortably. Have used for 2 months, still looks elegant, no dishwaher or chipping problems.

Fantastic purchase
I looked around for simple white plates. I love the style, size and thickness of these. I have small children and they help put these dishes away daily. These stand up to constant abuse. Great plates!

Love this set!
We use the Aspen placesettings mainly for everyday use but we've also used them for dinner parties. This set is so versatile! We receieved these place settings for a wedding gift and they've held up nicely! Great quality! Great value! This is a beautiful set that we'll enjoy for years to come!

Dressy or casual
I bought these for my daughter-in-law and they are so nice. You can dress them up or use every day. They are made well and can stand up to every day usage. She sometimes uses with colored salad plates to go with the different seasons or holidays.
