Excellent quality for the price!
Couldn't be happier with these dishes. The price is excellent even purchasing the pieces separately, but the set gives additional savings. These pieces are well made, heavy, and have a great finish.

Nice dishes, good price
I bought these as a gift for my brother who was in the restaurant industry for many years and loves the clean modern style of these dishes. For that reason and the fact that these are oven safe is why I chose these. Not to mention that I was able to get him a complete set for 6 place settings for under $100. And I was able to have everything picked up in store by mom (being they live in another state) and the staff there was very helpful, they even helped her carry everything to her car!

Great style, some flaws
I absolutely love the style of these dishes - the bowls are my favorite! I've had them for about 2 months now and they have held up well with everyday usage. Having said that, they are definitely not perfectly made - the edges are a little uneven, and on the large dinner plates there is a small groove that runs through the top of EVERY plate - I didn't notice this until I brought them home from the store. It's very subtle, and obviously once you put food on them you won't notice it a bit. But, if you're a perfectionist this might bother you enough to look for another dish set!

Love these dishes
I bought these becuase I wanted something simple that I could match with anything. These plates are durable and look great and I love the square shape. I have purchases the bowls and smaller plates to match and I love them all.

Good, but has flaws
My husband and I received multiple place settings of the Court Dinnerware as a wedding gift. We loved the crisp white lines and the look of this dinnerware. However, beware that some of these plates are made unevenly on the bottom causing them to spin when placed on the table. It may be time consuming in the store, but test each plate on a flat surface for spinning before you buy!!!!

I love my dishes!
The photo doesn't do these dishes justice. The look is contemporary, crisp and clean. I am using them for everyday dishes but they can easily be used for something more dramatic with more elaborate table accessories.
I like them because they are very versatile and great quality. I would highly recommend.

Sturdy Everyday Stock
Nice, simple dishes for everyday use in a busy family. The dishes do have slight irregularities. For example, the edges are not perfectly square, each dish has a slight dent in the center. We are pretty tough on dishes between stacking them in dishwashers and loading them in cabinets, so I am interested to see if these pass the chip test.

This set is great for everyday use but with it's clean lines, classic look they could even be dressed up for a more formal occassion. I dressed my table with a nice white table cloth and napkins, candles and white flowers and my guest all wanted a set.

Great Dinnerware
I love the clean lines of this set. The simple white color provides infinite flexibility in pairing this set with other items or table linens. Very high quality finish on this porcelain dinnerware. You can't go wrong on the quality. Simply a matter of whether the look fits your style.

christmas party
Bougth this set for Christmas party. You can't beat the price. Dinnerware set is not the best but does perform well in function and asthetic. As for material the dishes were made a bit rough. Some rough edges and lines.

Great dishes at great prices.
These dishes are the perfect weight and size. The presentation of the food on these plates make everything look elegant and delicious.The plates do not stain and they wash nicely in the diswasher. Crate & Barrel also has the best customer service. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Just what I was looking for
I have been looking for a square, white dinner set that is reasonably priced for almost two years. I actually purchased some from elsewhere last year that were terrible, got really hot in the microwave and chipped like crazy. These are absolutely great! Not too heavy, great sizes, and I love the look. The dinner plate is a good size, so we actually use the salad plate more often. And yes, the bowl is a little awkward to fit in the dishwasher, but is better if you use the top rack. The bowls also stack higher than other bowls, so I had to put them in two stacks, but I have the space so that was fine. I had a couple pieces that had little bubbles in the finish or didn't sit flat. One call to customer service and they had replacement pieces on their way! They were wonderful to deal with! Highly recommend!

Simply chic
The Court dinnerware set is as simple as it gets - white porcelain and square in shape. Yet it magically dresses up for any formal dinner party and dresses down for a quiet Sunday brunch. It's pearly white finish easily complements any color decor. The dinner plate is larger than expected (great for those Thanksgiving portions). I have received many compliments on this set everytime I use it. Great purchase.

Great value and quality
I LOVE my purchase. The dishes are high quality. I have 3 young children so I need resilient dishes but also don't want to sacrifice on presentation. You can dress these up or down easily. I've even found that we prefer to use them over our fine china for special occasions because they are classy but also are so much easier to clean and I don't have to worry as much if any were to break ( none have thus far).

great look but definitely not chip resistant
I love the look of this dinnerware set. I received 2 sets as a wedding gift and they have the perfect clean, elegant look. Unfortunately, the claims that they are "chip resistant" are false. Our first plate chipped within a month of having it and in less then 6 months we now have at least 6 different pieces that have a chip. Since I love the look of the set, I'm probably going to need to spend more money buy extra pieces to make up for the broken ones.
