Love the simplicity of the design!
I originally only got the one place setting accidentally. But after seeing the dinnerware and all the compliments, I got the 4 piece dinner set and I love it. They are white, but have a nice interesting design.

Great everyday dishware
I first purchased the set last year. We decided to go with white dishware. I had started building dishes using more expensive white dishware from another vendor, but it easily chipped. This product is lightweight and the original purchase has not chipped yet. I purchased a third 20 piece set and extra bowls in September when I saw that it was being discontinued. I have always been satisfied with Crate and Barrel products and continue to be satisfied.

Very Classy Dinnerware
I've been using mismatched plates and bowls for years now -- remnants of old sets where some pieces was broken -- and wanted something classic and pretty for my table. This set is really nice. I purchased open stock, as I didn't want all the pieces that come in the set. I got dinner plates, low bowls, regular bowls, and the cups and saucers. We use the low bowls and dinner plates the most, but all of the pieces are nice. The plates are large enough to serve good portions and the low bowls are the PERFECT size for everything! Now that I think about it, the proportions of each piece are spot on. The coffee cups are just the right size and the saucers work great with appetizers as well as the cups. The finish is good. I'm not sure if I a huge fan about the fold in the ceramic, as I think it might be a big over-designed, but I do love the uneven edges. We haven't had any issues with using the items in the microwave or dishwasher, and they aren't as delicate as they might seem. Overall, I would recommend this set, but it is expensive so I'd say be sure you love it before buying.

Simple and Elegant with a Touch of Intrigue
We registered for the 5 piece dinnerware sets, along with the coffee mugs and "cereal" bowls. We loves them!!!! Their simplicity coordinates with all of our serveware, but the hint of detail make them not too simple. We also have the delilah green plates to add a little color to our place settings.
These dishes do great in the dishwasher and microwave. They have been much more durable than they feel like they might be. I am so happy that we chose these dishes!

Incredible Dinnerware
This dinnerware is incredible. It is durable and dishwasher safe. I have accidentally dropped a dinner plate on my ceramic floor and it did not get even a chip on it. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The look is also very chic and modern.

Great set
My wife and I live this set of dinnerware. We registered for it online for our wedding and were delighted with it once our first gift arrived. We use it daily and it has an excellent weight, not too heavy and clunky like most everyday dinnerware. The style is awesome and timeless, especially with the little twist that takes it from bland to unique. We both love it.

Good Investment
As a soon to be married woman, I was looking for a set of everyday dinnerware that would be both high qualtiy and timeless but a little different than what everyone else has. This is definitely it! This set is beautiful, it has a shiny eye catching glaze and it almost looks hand made. I was nervous about it being in the stoneware family because I have found that stoneware is often times very heavy but this dinnerware is almost as light as porcelain and is very thin. The white color is timeless and I am sure that I will continue to love this set for years to come!

Wonderful Dishes
My husband and I have had these dishes about 5 months and are very satisfied. Although they are a bit lightweight they seem very durable. So far no dishes have broken or chipped and the material does not seem prone to easy breakage. The style is very versatile, being contemporary but classic, simple but not boring, not too white but not too cream-colored, and the dishes look great with a variety of serving pieces. We got a pretty complete set and the low bowls are very useful. We also bought the saucers but use them as small plates. Most Crate & Barrel dishes only come with two plate sizes. The Haruka saucers can be used as appetizer/bread & butter plates without looking like saucers. It is very useful to have 3 sizes of plates. Overall these dishes are a great purchase.

Haruka Dinner Ware
These dishes are beautiful in their simplicity. When they first arrived I was worried about the durability... but no worries. We have been using these dishes on a daily basis for more than 6 months and are very pleased. Nothing has broken even with two children under 12. The table setting is incredible... the food aesthetic is enhanced by the basic white background. Everyone who sees the dishes is impressed by the versatility and uniqueness of this dinner ware.
