On its second marriage, still going!
These were a wedding gift for my husband's first marriage in 1997. In 2012, we still have them. Even though I prefer all-white dinnerware, I have a grudging respect for Blue Band here. The plates and bowls have lasted forever with barely any chipping!

Beautiful design
I purchased place settings as a gift to my daughter for her bridal shower. I love the pattern. Definitely a traditional classic with a modern feel. The shipment was well packed and received within a fair amount of time. Great purchase !!

Love the set!
We got these as gifts for our wedding. LOVE them. Gorgeous, timeless, & well made! Great for everyday use, but also nice enough to use for special occasions. Super happy.

Perfect dinnerware set!
I bought 10 sets of the Roulette Blue Band dinnerware 3 years ago and have been extremely happy with my purchase. It's elegant enough for dinner parties and unfussy enough for everyday use.

Simple yet elegant set
We bought this set plus some extras 2 months ago and they are great. They are beautifully white and the blue band and ribbing adds some elegance to them. We use the every day and for entertaining and have been complimented several times. They go with pretty much everything - the color of napkins / tablecloth can totally change their feel.
We have found the plates to be sturdy. None have chipped even though they have been banged around by both a rambunctious 3-year-old and the dishwasher.
Everything is a nice size. I really like the bowls but agree with another reviewer that they don't stack super well. They do stack just as well as any other bowl of this type though.
My only complaint is that when we first got the plates, they were very squeaky whenever a fork or knife touched them, but that has gone away.
Highly recommend!

It Only Took 40 Years!
After 42 years of marriage, we finally found the perfect dishes!! Who ever thought they'd hear their husband rave about dishes - not me! He loves the round bowls, the squatty bowls, the square plates, the round plates - every one has a perfect and specific use to him. As for me, I love that they're sturdy, gorgeous, and so incredibly easy to clean and keep looking new. They don't dent, scratch, or chip. To be truthful, I never thought I'd write a review on dishes, but these are just that good!

Nice, simple plates
We registered for these dishes for our wedding in 2009 and they've been great. I've broken quite a few pieces, but they're affordable, so replacing them is no issue at all. Plus, the white and blue is quite classic and works well with a variety of table decor.
My only complaint is that they seem to have lost a little bit of their luster in the course of three years. That could, of course, be due to a piece-of-junk dishwasher. It certainly wouldn't be a reason to not purchase them.

Great product
I purchased this bowl to replace one my daughter broke. I have had these for over 10 years and they are still perfect even though they receive a lot of wear.

Great Service
I ordered 8 placesettings of this product on line and it arrived quickly and expertly packed. Have friends who own this and wanted the same thing. Unfortunately, the blue color that has been sold in the past is now so dark it appears close to black. The local store (Spring Valley) was glad to try to find true blue in their stock and were exceptionally helpful. So was the service rep at the Crate and Barrel 800 #. While I returned the product due to the color, Crate and Barrel always delivers on great service and I hope that this product will be manufactured in blue in the future.

Understated Elegance
I really love this set - simple and elegant, perfect for every day use, but it can be used for a special occasion as well.
In addition to eight sets I also purchased small plates and shallow bowls. Shallow bowls are perfect for pasta or anything with sauces.
The only small problem is that cereal bowls are a bit bulky. It's a very nice shape, but the bowls don't stuck well. If you have limited cabinet space, you may want to get low bowls instead of cereal bowls.

Durable and Stylish Dinnerware
This dinnerware is dishwasher safe and we've used it for over a year with no major issues. The bowls should be put in the top area of the dishwasher or they sometimes get a grey smear on the side which can be removed with a mild cleaning agent such as Soft Scrub. This dinnerware is easily recommended for its stylish appearance and durability.

Exceptional Quality and Appearance
These plates are wonderful. We received them as a wedding gift and look forward to getting the rest of the set (bowls, smaller plates, etc). They're very functional and sturdy and yet look top-of-the-line in appearance. We love them!!!

Crisp and Clean
I spent a year and a half shopping in stores and on line for the perfect dinnerware. The crisp clean look of Roulette blue band dinnerware was just right. I've had it for two weeks and love the look, the finish, the weight and feel of it. It arrived so well packed that the box could have been hurled at my front door from the back of the truck and nothing would have broken. I'm completely satisfied and will order. more place settings soon.

Great Everyday Dinnerware
My husband and I selected this dinnerware for our casual, everyday use, and so far (one year later), it has held up pretty well. The pieces are simple and attractive.
I'm not giving 5 stars for the fact that we've already had a plate break, and we're not careless with our plates. It was fine when we put it in the dishwasher, but when we took it out, there was a chip on the edge and a crack all the way across. No idea how that happened. At least it's inexpensive to replace!

Best Dishes Ever!!
My husband and I absolutely love these dishes! We use them every single day and they work for everything. The small plates are great for snacks and desserts, and we even use the teacups as mini bowls for nuts, ice cream, etc. all the time. We asked for these on our wedding registry and I couldn't be more happy that we did! They remind me of the dishes my family had when I was younger...they look really nice but they are great for everyday use. Thanks Crate & Barrel!!!

Fantastic dishes!
My husband and I registered for these dishes 2 years ago and have used them ever since. They are very durable and have held up well. The white has stayed true and the with the blue band looks striking on a table.

Versatile and beautiful
I love these dishes - they were on my wedding registry and I couldn't wait to complete the set! I ended up buying extras in case they weren't all bought as gifts - the thought of not having them was just too much! They are simple but elegant, easily dressed up for a formal holiday dinner but just as easily used for a casual brunch. Thank you C+B for another great product!

Great every day dishes
We got these dishes almost 6 years ago for our wedding and have used them every day since. They have held up extremely well over time, and almost look brand new even after all this time. It's a simple design, but the blue stripe adds a bit of flair over the all-white version. The bowls are a great size for for cereal and soup. The mug has a comfortable handle, and the plates are great sizes for their functions.

Awesome dinnerware set!
My husband and I just purchased this set and absoluely love it! We love the ribbed texture with the blue detailing as well as the quality of the plates, mugs, and bowls. We've already gotten so many compliments from guests we've had over. Definitely worth it!
