Love Affair where the honeymoon never ends
I had a set of Essential Dinnerware for over 10 years! I loved the set from day 1. Often times, I need time to warm up to a product and play a little hard to get. But with the Essential Dinnerware, it was love at first sight. I adored everything about it and continue to love its classic and simple lines so much that when enough pieces of my original set broke, I replaced it with another full serving set for 8. I have to say I am still enamored with this design. My love affair with the Essential dinnerware has outlasted any boyfriend I have ever had. It never disappoints me. The elegance design can be dressed up or down. My only hesitation of not giving this product 5 stars is that the mug is not as elegant with a timeless modernity as the former version. But as I never use the mugs with the place setting, I would definitely give it 4 and 3/4 stars if I could.

Quality & versatile
We purchased the Essential Dinnerware set with the 7 bowl about 4 months ago. We could not be happier! The generous sized mug is perfect for my morning coffee or evening tea. The simple style is perfect for both everyday and dinner guests. Honestly, best set of dinnerware we've owned.

GREAT FOR EVERYDAY USE
THIS IS A BASIC WHITE EVERYDAY SET. IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND CAN BE DRESSED UP AND USED ELEGANTLY IN A MORE FORMAL SETTING.
MY ONLY OBJECTION IS THE SIZE OF THE MUG,WAY TOO BIG!
WE USE THE MUG FOR HOT COCOA, THE KIDS LOVE THE LARGE SIZE.

Highly recommended!! Even my husband likes them!
After 14 years of living with the same dishes we bought when we got married, we decided it was time to simplify and get rid of our mismatched and tired collection. We LOVE this set and plan to buy another one. They have a very nice weight and make a very easy transition from casual eating on the couch to nice dinner party. They remind us of restaurant dishes. My husband has commented about how much he likes them several times and he's not a big complimenter (of things) so that's saying a lot. We've been using them for about a month. No complaints! Great look, feel, price!! We would definitely recommend this set!

Awesome dinnerware set
I purchased this set and I couldn't be happier. The plates are beautiful and go with any thing. I can spruce up my table with colored glasses or a bright colored salad plate etc. I love love love the salad plate because when you don't want to have a full dinner you can use these plates and they work great!!! I am going to purchase another set soon! The best part about the set is the price so affordable!

excellent everyday dishes
I purchased 2 sets of these dishes for my new kitchen. I also purchased 2 of the serving pieces. My husband and I could not believe how well they were packed. We have not experienced this type of packing before. Everything was in perfect condition. Not a thing broken. The dishes are great and give us that up to date look. The bowls are deep enough to also be used for serving.

use with caution
Loved the simplistic design of these bowls. My word of caution is that they chip easily. They don't nest well in the dishwasher so make sure they don't hit anything. I think for the price they are a good value but not sure they will stand the test of time and kids.

Perfect White Dishes
I love these dishes. They are great for every day use and fit in my dishwasher really well. I like that they are crisp white, but are not perfect (ei, formal). I also appreciate the fact that if I break a dish, I can purchase a replacement separately instead of buying the whole set.

Great set
I purchased this set to replace the first set of dishes we received from another store for our wedding.
The price was great and the quality is as well. They fit great in the dishwasher, are microwave safe and are lightweight but very sturdy. I have accidentally smacked them a few times on my granite counters and they haven't chipped or scratched.

Great dinnerware
We ordered 2 sets, price and style were the best we could find. Simple and clean for everyday use. Good sized plates, bowls and mugs. Fit in the dishwasher fine. I'd buy them again!

Essential Dinnerware
Somewhat disappointed in the quality this time. We purchased a large set of these dishes a few years ago. The quality is noticeably lower. The rims of the plates are wavy. Still a very nice set, but wish it were better.

Got exactly what I paid for
This dinnerware was exactly as advertised. Special attention was paid to protecting the merchandise for shipment as they also do in the stores. 1 bowl came with a minor manufacturing flaw. I called and a new bowl arrived a few days later.

More Beautiful than I imagined!!!
Just received two 16 pc sets with the larger bowl today and WOW!!! So much better in person. The weight of each dish and the modern, simplistic style makes it seem that I paid big bucks. The plates stack perfectly in my dishwasher. This set will make any table look fresh and up to date. I am one HAPPY CUSTOMER!
