Not well designed
Loved these pitchers for about 3 months, then suddenly a huge cracks appeared along the handle areas. On both of them! So bummed. I think the weight of the liquid is too much for the handle-- because they are large pitchers. Sadly I had to throw them out for safety.
I now buy the ones with no handle, or go with acrylic pitchers.

Perfect engagement gift
My friends were not registered for gifts after their engagement-but everyone can use a perfect pitcher! Lemonade, sangria, water, or some other drink can be stylishly poured from this lovely, affordable pitcher.

Love this pitcher
I received this glass pitcher from my wedding registry. I think it is great to put orange juice in for a brunch get-together rather than putting the carton on the table when guests are over. Also, great for ice tea, water or sangria! :) It seems to be dishwasher friendly.

My daughter received this pitcher as a wedding shower gift and loved it. I have borrowed it several times for special occasions because it is very elegant looking and has a nice heft to it. Recently purchased one for myself because it has been such a mainstay in our entertaining.

Beautiful but weak handle
Had this for a couple of years, loved the pitcher, used regularly but just developed a crack where the handle attaches to the base. Have always handwashed and treated carefully as it's glass. Disappointed but will probably order another.

great item
this is a great item for a gift, however it is way too delicate for me. i ordered it as a gift for my son as a wedding gift, when it arrived it was in billions of peices, however, all i did was call Crateand Barrel, they simply apoligized for the inconvenience and said tey would get it right out to me, just throw the broken one away, no questions asked. it was one of the best online shopping experiences i've ever had. the pitcher is a great peice, just delicate!!!!

Great gift item
My aunt broke her pitcher she had since she got married and needed a replacement water pitcher. I ordered this one since I have had great luck with C&B products and they are easily replaceable if broken. This pitcher is very versatile as far as use and very affordable. This would make a great gist as a house warming or as a wedding gift filled with drink items or paired with other glassware. I could also see this used as a vase if need be.

Wonderful Pitcher
My mother had this pitcher for years and years. It was her favorite pitcher (it goes with everything - our daily dishes, our special occasion dishes, even our fancy china!). She probably had the same one for about 10 years until she accidentally knocked it over in the sink as she was washing it and it broke. She was so upset over it! However, I think it's awesome that Crate and Barrell still carries it after all this time! I bought her a new one and she was so surprised and thrilled to have the same pitcher back. I bet this one will last another 10 years!

Love this!
I have wanted an all-purpose glass pitcher for decades, finally broke down and bought this one. I selected this one for its 64 oz capacity and its appealing curvy shape.
This arrived quickly, carefully wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap and boxed - great care went in to packaging this for shipping.
Love this pitcher, it is easy to get my hand in to clean it really well, and it looks nice sitting on the counter.
I used it last weekend to serve margaritas, and now think I will buy another, it is just such a handy and attractive serving piece!

Pitcher Perfect!
We purchased this pitcher for our office meetings with clients after the one we originally bought from a different un-named company was too cheap looking. This is beautiful and very well made. Upon receieving it in the mail, we were saddened to see if had cracked during the journer, C & B were so apologetic and helpful, they sent a replacement out right away, no fuss!

Very elegant!
This pitcher is somewhat heavy, but sturdy and beautifully designed. It's perfect for water, lemonade, etc. for small-ish brunches and dinner parties. We just received it recently as a wedding gift, so I hope it will last well.

Nice pitcher, messy pour
I think the pitcher is beautiful, but the pouring is messy...you have to be very careful not to spill ice water in the pitcher as you are pouring. Works better with just water even though it is supposed to hold back the ice and pour nicely (based on product description).

Basic Glass Pitcher
This pitcher is a basic staple for any household. I love that I can mix it with my casual place settings as well as for more formal ocassions. Looks great with water, ice tea or sangria in it. Also love that the spout isn't drippy after we pour from it.

Not a great pour
I was looking for a pitcher to use at a bridal shower luncheon. Liked the shape and feel of the pitcher, but when I did a pour test, it was a failure. Returned it and bought the acrylic pitcher which worked so much better.
