Loved the weight, quality
I got to choose these even though they were a gift so I already knew they would be what I wanted. But once I tried them I knew I had made the right choice - they are well-balanced in your hand and the quality is excellent.

Keep buying more
I put this flatware on my bridal registry 18 years ago. We still love it. It is nice enough for special occasions yet durable enough for daily use. I just bought 5 more place settings so we would have enough for the Holidays.

Great
Have had this silverware for 5 years and still love it! Like a previous reviewer said, the only drawback that we've noticed is the knives sometimes get rust spots in the dishwasher...this doesn't happen to any of the other pieces though.

great flatware
I have owned this flatware for over 30 years. Just purchased four more sets. Great feel and balance. Timeless design. Nothing cutesy or faddish about this one.

Good Registry Item
I love this flatware and it is so pretty with my dinnerware (White Pearl china). It looks best when it is handwashed ..... I don't want it to get scratched anyway. But it is just a great classic looking set.

Still Wonderful
My mom and dad somehow acquired one knife from this set early on in their marriage and it was, for decades, "the good knife". The best peanut butter knife, the easiest to wash, etc. It still looks great; I'm not sure I could easily pick it out from the new ones. But the set was expensive (for us) and well into big splurge territory.
This year was their 31st anniversary so my dad, sis, and I decided it was time to finally step up and get my mom the full set for Christmas. She says it was worth the wait :) The silverware drawer looks fabulous. Everything is gorgeous and well made. I was especially impressed with the serving pieces; they're very substantial.

Classy, Comfy, and Durable
We've had this flatware for over 5 years now. It still looks beautiful. It's nice enough for special occasions but comfortable to hold for every day use.

Love this flatware!
We registered for this flatware sight unseen for our wedding 3 years ago and couldn't be happier with our choice! The pieces look great despite daily use and roughly 1,000 runs through the dishwasher! Highly recommended!

Classic, sturdy flatware
We've actually had this flatware pattern for over 9 years, and it has stayed sturdy, classic, and free of spots or blemished that seem to happen after a while with lesser quality "stainless". Would definitely recommend this!!

I love the look and feel of these--I've been using them for two years. They are very comfortable and easy to hold. One major drawback--they rust occasionally in my dishwasher.

Great product
We've been using this set for over a year and are very pleased. They look very timeless and guests have actually complimented them. My only complaint would be that if you don't pre-rinse them well, the butter knives have spotted in the dishwasher. Each time the spots have wiped off without permanently affecting the finish.

Classic Silverware
I really enjoy the gourmet flatware design for its simple and classic design and because it is not a heavy flatware line. For the most part, it cleans very well in the dishwasher and has not lost its shine. Like any flatware, it does get tiny scratches from use.

Stands the test of time
I purchased a complete set of Gourmet Flatware for my first apartment over ten years ago and even after a decade of use the pieces look great. More importantly, after changing homes several times and going through several different "decors" I have not gotten tired of it's timeless style and would pick it all over again.
