Gorgeous!
I picked this set because I love how the spoons have a deep scoop but the whole set is fabulous. The butter knives have a nice serrated edge and it's having a little detail like that that makes this look like a really expensive set. The satin finish is beautiful and after using for 2 wks and washing in the dishwasher, it's not showing any scratches. It has a nice weight to it as well. I sat down with dinner guests the day I got the silverware and the first thing they complimented was this silverware. I love it!

Love these!
We've had this flatware for the last 5 years, since we got it as a wedding present. We use them every day, and they've stood up very well. Great for durability and I love the design (modern, but simple). We did have some extra pieces stored for a few years, and when we took them out, we realized the ones we'd been using every day were a bit more scuffed up looking, and the new ones were nice and shiny. BUT, overall, you could hardly tell the difference, and they've stood up much better than some I've seen at friends and family's houses.

Perfect for our MidMod
We searched for suitably sturdy everyday flatware for use in our beautifully restored 1955 MidMod house - and this is it! We have had 6 place settings in use for 5 years and they look as beautiful as the brand new settings.

really great set
My husband and I chose this flatware for our registry, it took a long time to pick it out we must have held every singe piece of flatware the store had. We both found this particular set the most confortable for each of us, he's a big guy with large hands, and I must say my hands are quite small, so it was awesome to actually agree on a set!

GREAT SCORE!
This flatware is very comfortable to hold, not too heavy, but it has some weight to it so you know you aren't using plasticware. Great price and attractive, too.

7 years and still going strong!
My husband and I got this flatware seven years ago as a wedding gift. Seven years later, the flatware and the marriage are still going strong! Mine have been dish-washed countless times and are still in great condition. I actually came to the crate and barrel site today to get some replacement pieces. I love it so much I was to replenish the missing pieces, not move onto something else!

Super, sleek, modern, substantial flatware!
We love our Stanton Satin Flatware! We received several place settings and serving sets for our wedding nearly 2 years ago. We got the satin finish because we thought the polished would probably show finger prints like crazy.
None of our pieces have rusted, and they do great in the dishwasher, whether we use heat or air dry. If we hand wash and let them dry on a towel on the counter the spoons do get temporary marks in the bowl if we leave them face up. The marks disappear as soon as we put them into any liquid.
It was so hard not to put the utensils in my mouth when we were at the store! I wanted to pick flatware based on the feel as you actually eat from them. FYI, these are great feeling! When we go to my parents' house, their traditional style flatware just feels all wrong to me now (no heft in the hand, and strange sharp edges in the mouth), even though I grew up using their flatware!
Maybe others aren't as passionate about flatware as I appear to be, but these are awesome!

Modern and simple
I love this silverware set. The utensils are a bit heavier which is really nice and feels secure. The shape of each one is clean and modern. The large spoon is GREAT for cereal and soup. My only complaint like the other reviews is the set became very quickly water stained. I don't do any fancy, formal dinner parties so not a big deal for us.

Fantastic, Modern Flatware
We received this flatware as a wedding gift and love it! The groom picked it out - I was not so sure about it as I thought they would be too heavy to hold. Once it arrived I realized the weight was perfect. I've put it in the dishwasher and have had no problems with scratching. Only complaint is that they seem to show quite a few water spots - a quick wipe of a towel clears them away, though.

Great for everyday use or for nicer dinners
I bought these for my everyday silverware, but they are really nice enough for your better silverware as well. They have a nice feel in your hand.
I would recommend being careful on how you clean them, as another person mentioned, they can scratch.

Love the Style
I've had this flatwear for a couple of years now & still like it. It's very weighty and feels sturdy in your hand. I love the shape of the spoons. It does scratch a little from constant use but not enough to make it look too worn to use. I wish a large slotted serving spoon was available.

Good Quality for the Price
The flatware has a great feel to it and fits comfortably in your hand. It looks great on a contemporary tabletop. The finish does scratch after a little while. Also, if it is not dried right away the water spots can be tough to remove.

Quality Flatware
I bought these for what I thought would be "temporary flatware" for my apartment, and after using them a couple of nights, I was impressed with the weight, presence and feel they had in my hand. I bought more the following week! This is a great quality, real, finished looking set of flatware for any occasion!

Lovely shape, but...
This flatware set has a lovely unique shape and good balance. It looks good on both casual and formal table settings. But beware, the satin finish is easily scratched.

Very Nice!
We searched a very long time for flatware and were extremely pleased when we received these from our registry. They have a very good weight to them and look great, although some minor scratches to the finish have already appeared at the 2 week mark. Nevertheless, we recommend them!
