Great flatware
I recently added two more place settings to my Tuscany flatware. I now have 10 place settings plus some extra soup spoons. I also have serving pieces. I had had my previous flat ware for over 50 years and it was time for a change. So my daughter is getting my old and I am thrilled to get Tuscany. It is a little heavier than my previous ware but I am adjusting to the weight so it won't tip out of a bowl. I spent a number of months looking for quality flatware and am totally pleased. Thank you, Crate and Barrel.

Classic but stylish
The weight and feel of this flatware is amazing. Well worth every penny. They have held up great over the past 2 years, have a beautiful patina and looks have definitely not faded. I just lost a fork, so fortunately I can just buy one more place setting. Easy fix!

Great Quality
I purchased this set of flatware online. I ordered a set for 4 to start to make sure I liked it. It's very heavy, shiny, and washed well in the dishwasher. I proceeded to order another set for 4. I would defintely recomend this flatware.

Going Strong After a Year's Use
I recieved this flatware in my wedding registry, and we have been very pleased with it. It seemed heavy compared to the really cheap stuff we were using before we got married, but now it just feels normal to us. It has held up very well in the dishwasher with a non-lemon detergent. It is beautiful flatware and we get compliments on it when we entertain.

As good as its namesake
Heavy but not uncomfortable, can go with a modern or classic tabletop. Love this set!

I purchased eight sets a year ago and love them. They wear well and I don't have any problems with them. I will say they are weighty and they will flip, fall, or roll out of bowl or off a plate. Overall I Love the look and feel of them.

Rust spots!?!
Just received this flatware for Christmas and it was washed one time and found that the flatware had rusted in spots! Unacceptable! Returning to the store now.

Absolutely Perfect!
We registered for this flatware for our wedding. We are going to use it for our everyday silverware as well as our formal silverware. It is so beautiful! We have had it for about a month now and we use it every day as well as wash it in the dishwasher. It never spots or leaves smear marks or anything. the pieces are heavy, but thats what we wanted. It looks so elegant next to our china and also with our every day dishes. It is absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for! I would definitely recommend this flatware to anyone!

Great flatware
We have had this flatware for over 9 years (since we got married). We still use it everyday and wash it in the dishwasher. We have had no problems with rust or corrosion or spots. It is heavy but we like that feel- I use the teaspoons and my husband uses the bigger spoon, which he likes. They feel substantial, not cheap. When my Mom visits, she says she thinks they are too heavy, so buyer beware.

Love this flatwear!
I have had this flatware for 5 years...love it! When I first went shopping for new flatware, my husband said he wanted something that felt substantial in his hands. This flatware was the ticket, it feels weighty without being overly so. I have not had any problems with any corrosion or pitting. I wash them in the dishwasher with detergent without lemon. I have to say that even after 5 year of everyday use, the set still looks great! I am planning to purchase a couple more place settings to I have service for 12.

Best Purchase
I love my Tuscany flatware. I have used it everyday for over 2 years and had to order more. It is heavy so feels expensive.

Beware of the dinner knives
This flatware was on my wedding registry and my husband and I have been using it for six months. I love the look and the feel of the flatware as a whole, but every single one of my 12 dinner knives have started to corrode. It is very disappointing.

don't buy
The description for this flatware states "weighty, versatile flatware features generous handles". Well beleive it! Tuscany soup spoons are the size of normal serving spoons. The teaspoons are the size of normal soup spoons. And the knive and fork were made for giants. Each piece is so large and heavy that it looks odd and feels strange to hold. I made the mistake of buying this flatware online without seeing it first in the store. I will return it now to the store because mailing it back would cost a fortune since the package it came in is so very heavy.

Scratched and tarnished
I've only been using this flatware for three months, and they look terrible, I followed directions and started using non-lemon dish detergent, and have been handwashing in lieu of the dishwasher. None of these measures stopped them from tarnishing and scratching. I'm very disappointed and would never recommend this set. Not sure what else I could have done to have avoided this situation.

I received this silverware for a wedding present. I use it for my everyday silverware and I have only had it for a little over a year and I have had to polish it several times. It says its dishwasher safe and its already totally scratched up and looks terrible and its totally discolored. Not really happy with this silverware at all

Tuscany Flatware
I purchased the flatware and serving pieces. They are wonderful. They have substantial weight and durability. I have been using mine for approximately six months and they look like new (I don't use a dishwasher). They do not have scrapes or rust spots on them. Everyone who joins me for dinner is impressed with the quality of the flatware. ...I haven't noticed mine to fall on the floor, but then I put the entire utensil on the plate when moving it.

Very High Quality
This flatware is beautiful and substantial. I love the heavy feeling. They feel expensive and not cheap. I wanted something to use with my everyday and my fine china and these work. I have 12 place settings and they wash well in the dishwasher and do not scratch.

well worth it
So nice to have a real set of substantial, beautiful flatware (and not my "mix and match.") This set can be casual or more formal, feels great, looks great. So happy with the investment!

Too heavy/bulky
I regret buying these because they are very heavy and bulky. If you have young kids in the house, and/or an elderly person, seriously, it is difficult to use the flatware. If you want that heavy look & feel, then it's fine for you.
