Assembly Information

Dundee Floor Planters is rated 4.2609 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love look, but buy pre-assembled!! Like this planter for indoor use, don't think its sturdy enough for outdoor tho. Comes with own screwdriver for assembly, which initially impressed me...until I tried to use it! Tool not fit to screw size, so quickly less impressed. Tried several options and still had 1 of 2 planters a bit off center as posts didn't quite line up. So it seems a gamble for mail order assembly and I have a large selection of well used tools. Nice height with tall planters and goes well with my mix of traditional and arts and craft interiors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very stylish I bought this planter and stand because I was looking for something sleek and modern that would accent our snake plant. It looks fantastic and really goes well with our midcentury aesthetic. I looked at a lot of planters and this was one of the least expensive that met my criteria. It is sturdy and seems like it will last for a long time. It was very easy to assemble.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are great! Very attractive and sturdy coffee colored metal planters. I have used them both outdoors and indoors and have had many compliments. I do think they were a bit overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this planter Bought its planter to showcase my orange pencil cactus. The gunmetal stand and sleek design complement the plant and raise it to a height where it can be easily seen. The plant is in a one gallon nursery container and fits the planter perfectly. As it is a succulent, watering hasn't presented a problem with the lack of a drain hole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Design! I purchased 2 of these for our master bedroom. They look absolutely beautiful! Dont be concerned if they will match your paint or wallpaper, they go with everything. Very sturdy construction and I put rocks inside the planter for stability...I have kids :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique floor planters The Dundee floor planters are unique, well made, and the assembly was quite easy. I had two succulents that were each already in their own planter and I sat each one down into the Dundee planters. My only complaint is there should be hole in the bottom of each of the Dundee planters to make it easier to remove your other planters that are inside of it. As it is, I really have to struggle to get out the inner planter without disrupting the plant. Placing a plant in a container without any drainage is a no no.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really wanted to love these I saw these in the store and was hoping to add these to my front porch. Sadly, these were not quite what I was looking for. They are much shorter than they appear online, almost to the point of looking a bit odd. The bucket size would fit about a gallon sized plant which is nice for this type of planter. The finish was a nice weathered color that looked like it would fit in and let the plant be the star. The legs were a bit thin which made me worry that they wouldn't stay upright in certain weather. I ended up choosing a different planter after seeing these in person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall and Short Floor Planters We bought the set (tall and short) over a month ago, and we absolutely love them. The gun metal finish is attractive, and the craftsmanship was well done. We purchased the stands for both and it gives us an option to keep planters on the floor or in the stands. Our front patio enjoys them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Accessories I used the gift cards I received from my bridal shower for these and I'm very pleased with them. I purchased both the tall and the short sizes, the pots are the same and the stands are easy to put together and even come with the screw driver!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great clean lines I love the look of these planters and often give them as closing gifts to my home buyer clients.  I like the scale of the pot, however, the opening is not wide enough for large plant pots and suggest to my clients to put something like an inverted plastic container in the bottom to elevate the plant to the right height.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great looking but all scratched up This cover pot looks great and is exactly what I was looking for... But it arrived all scratched up and I had to return it. Since it is also sold with a stand, I wonder whether it got scratched in the process of lifting it or placing it in the stand. The scratches to the finish were all around the pot so it is more fragile than it looks. The finish is like a paint and much darker than the metal itself. The lip also changes the size of the opening and this cover pot could only accept a smaller nursery pot than what I planned. I was sorry to return it since it is a great looking planter at a good price. The customer service for the return process was excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Planter I really like the planter. It can be used in any room because it goes with any decor. The only negative about it was when putting it together the holes had alot of metal shavings on them which made it hard to put the screws in, other then that I like it very much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from big bang for the buck I lean towards classic modernism...Bauhaus, deco, and mid century...im a designer so I lament over every detail...your not going to do better than this piece for the money. the short one is actually very well proportioned. the description calls this antique bronze...its actually more matte slate, and will compliment your eichler décor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking...construction not the best I really like the look of these planters. I actually have a couple of them. However, the 3 legs that fit together don't always stay together. This makes it difficult if you need to move the planter or even if you're removing the barrel to water as you constantly need to put it back together. Only one gives me problems so maybe it's just that one.
