Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome design for the kitchen... My house is relatively new, and there was never any lighting installed over the kitchen sink (what builder does not put a light above the kitchen sink???). Since the kitchen cabinets are next to the sink, I had a friend install it on the side of the cabinet. It faces perfectly over the sink. Thumbs up, couldn't be happier!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but not functional I love everything about this lamp except the fact that the head cannot be adjusted to point straight down. Like the other reviewer, I just can't find a way to use this without going blind. With the tilt, the light shines directly in your eyes. An Edison bulb may help, but I'm personally going to have to look for other options.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from beautiful and modern but issue with glare I love the simple, clean lines of these sconces, plus the warmth of the wood and black cloth cord are really nice touches. But the angle of the light and absence of a diffuser made it hard for me to imagine a place where the bright light would not be in my eyes. Note that the angle does not adjust - which in some ways is a plus for added simplicity and symmetry - but in the end that angle as constructed doesn't work for my needs.
