Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great looking, but not a perfect product. I bought this espresso maker as a christmas present over a year ago. I love the look of this and the ease of use. Perfect for making one cup of coffee with great steamed millk. I love the large water container, it's a small machine and doesnt clutter the counter. The first problem is that it doesn't really make espresso, it makes a rich creamy coffee. My husband and I both were ok with this since we would use the double shot attachement and make just one serving. The second problem is that the coffee is not as hot as we would like but we drank the coffee right away before it could get cold. The next problem is that after about 6 months of daily use it developed a small leak from the bottom. I should have returned it but I we really loved this easy coffee ritual. The leak continued and I had to wipe up a small puddle everyday. But we loved this machine so we just dealt with the leak and then about a week ago the machine died. It smelled like something was overheating inside but there is not way to take this apart and see what went wrong. I would like to get another machine like this but I would look for a different brand and read all the reviews very seriously next time. Still and all, I love Crate and Barrel. They are a great company and most of their products are terrific. They have great customer service and I know that I should have taken this back for a replacement when it first started leaking so part of the problem lies with me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bellissima! This is the sweetest espresso maker if you like to have control over your own espresso! I have had two Saeco estro profi' over 17 years and the Capresso is better! It really does make a beautifully creamy crema that sits on top and keeps the coffee hot as it should. You can steam and don't have to wait an eternity to then brew your espresso, great feature! It is just a dream. Manual is the only way to go! The only machine that could rival this would be a Pavoni!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a great mocha and Chai I've been using this espresso machine for a few months now and I would highly recommend it for those who like to have a more hands-on approach to their espresso at a very reasonable price. The water reservoir allows for quite a bit off use between refills and the pressure for both steaming and brewing is perfect. A word of caution though, the holes in the filters are so small that after washing, be sure to put the filters in the handle and attach to the machine to force water through to rinse the filter. This keeps the coffee from having a slightly soapy taste. :-) Rinsing under the tap doesn't remove all the soap.
