Picardie tumblers, marry me.
I am in my early twenties, and I lust over housewares like no one's business. (I wish I could get paid for it!)
Anyway, I felt like I urgently must purchase stemware for my... dreams of drinking lots of wine with meals, which I actually don't do. In realizing my real relationship with wine, considering my clumsiness, and assessing that I desired a fancy glass that was versatile, sturdy, elegant, and timeless, I found the Duralex brand. I bought four of the juice-sized glasses from CB for use as wine tumblers, and, Lord, I use them for everything. Wine is tasty and unpretentious in them. So is milk, with the wide rim perfect for cookie dunking! They feel extremely sturdy, have yet to scratch, and yet the walls of the glass are very clear and surprisingly thin. The fit in the hand is excellent. My glassblower boyfriend was impressed with my find, and we can't wait to purchase more as we start our lives together. I know these glasses will last my lifetime, and that is exactly what I was looking for.

Solid French bistro glasses
I wish I had enough room in my kitchen to buy these glasses in every size! They are super practical, durable and have that French bistro aesthetic. It's a great purchase for any home.

love them!
Bought these glasses because they're sturdy but stylish. They've lived up to their promise -- my toddler has dropped them on the wood floor from the high chair and no breakage yet! We use them for hot and cold drinks. They've done fine in the dishwasher so far.

Money Well Spent
One can use these glasses for everyday purposes, which I do. They even dress up nicely for special occasions… a very practical product. I purchased a dozen of the 17 oz glasses for Thanksgiving, 2011. They were carefully and expertly packaged and arrived in no time without any breakage. Compared to other competitors, Crate and Barrel has the best price around!

I bought 75 of these glasses for the small school where I teach. I have owned some myself for years and knew them to be beautiful, durable, stackable and well priced. I highly recommend them!

Fabulous Glass - Useful for everything liquid!!!
I purchased these glasses as a replacement for several mismatched kids' cups, and fragile stackable glasses that had a propensity to tip over.
I purchased 12 of the 11 oz. glasses to use as an everyday glass for water, juice, etc. These glasses are the perfect replacement for nearly: (1) all drinking capacities, (2) perfect size for the dishwasher racks, (3) doesn't retail water in the bottom after washing, (3) nearly unbreakable, (4) holds both hot and cold drinks, (5) size is perfect for encouraging increasing daily fluid intake (not to little or to much all at once.), and (6) STACKABLE!!!
I was planning on purchasing the larger tumblers for iced tea or such, but I've found that this size works very well. No need to up size.
The glass style complements many different styles of dinnerware so they are very versatile. I have formal dinner ware to very modern, casual dinnerware, and these glasses look nice with them all.

Very sturdy glasses
I have been looking everywhere for these Picardie
glasses in the larger size and at a smaller price than
elsewhere. Many years ago ,I bought a set of six of the smaller ones and believe it or not there are five
still in service-and that is no small feat considering
my tendency to break just about all the glasses I get my hands on.

The Perfect Glass whether you are Italian or not
These glasses serve all purposes. Being of Italian descent my family has always used a "non-wine" wine glass. The middle of the three are perfect to serve wine in as well as my grandchild's juice.
The smallest is perfect for espresso. Also used for dessert with hot espresso poured over a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The tall glass is excellent for milk, iced tea, Arnold Palmer's, etc., etc.
The quality is great, they will be around for years to come.

great purchase
purchased these along with the working glasses which i love. i use the 2 size picardie glasses for entertaining AND i drink my morning coffee from the larger tumbler. a great addition to my kitchen
