Great Chair
We purchased four Delta chairs for our kitchen, we had very heavy oak chairs and wanted something lighter. They are perfect! Light weight and sturdy and give the kitchen a nice look mixed with the oak table. Very comfortable as well.

Looks great but get the seat cushion!
We purchased four of these chairs for our breakfast nook. The design is timeless and they look great. When they arrived two of them were a bit wobbly so we returned them and reordered. No problem with the replacements.
Note: the chairs get very cold! I see why the seat cushions are optional. I didn't find the color choices desirable so I forwent ordering them but now we freeze our tushes on the seat.

I got some good ones!
All of the negative reviews I read here scared me. But, I had fallen in love with these 30" Barstools and had to have them. This was an online purchase so fingers were crossed I wasn't in for a long return process! Happy to say that all stools sat level and were in good condition. Some of the legs did look a little scratched, but only upon close inspection. Also, I am short (5'3") and have to do a little scooting to get on them. My feet do not reach the lower rung either. They are lightweight so my 5 year old can move them, and is able to climb up. The only truly negative thing I can see is there are a few rough edges and some of the welds look a little sloppy. They are cold, so recommend the cushions. Have already had to wash those several times- they clean well and hold up. Overall quite happy as they make my kitchen look fab.

Great Looking Stool!
This stool looks great! Very stable and well built. It is true as other reviewers have said that the foot rest is too far back to comfortably put your feet on.But I can deal with that. I will be ordering two more of these.

Not What I Expected
I ordered one of these chairs, since my local store does not keep them in stock. When it arrived in a giant box, there was no surrounding packing, just the flimsy foam taped to the legs. While taking the foam off the back legs, I noticed one of the back slats was crooked, leaving a big gap between the slat and the seat of the chair. When I went to take the foam off the front legs, there were so many scratches on the front of the seat that the entire chair just seemed to be a bad purchase at that point. I returned it to my local store, but I did not get the shipping cost returned. Like I said, good thing I didn't order all 4 - I would have been out about $100. It looks good in the photo, but appears to be a less-than quality chair.

Very wobbly - twice!
I purchased 3 of these stools and all 3 were very wobbly on my hard wood floor. I then asked C&B to replace all 3 stools because of the wobbliness. I just received 3 new ones, and now 2 of them are still wobbly! Out of 6 stools, I've only received 1 that is sufficient. Such a waste of time and money with all this! I would NOT recommend this product.

Great Stools!
These stools arrived quickly and look great at our kitchen counter space! Warning: they are a little cold! I plan on ordering some cushions. Other than that, I absolutely love them.

I RETURNED THESE!
They looked so hip and well made on the web site but they were cheap looking and did not sit evenly on floor. One of the legs was even bent as the metal is so flimsy.
The good news is Crate and Barrel was great about
processing the return. C and B has amazing products and service, these terrible chairs are the exception.

Big Bummer
These chairs were a huge disappointment. We were so excited about them until they arrived. We have tile floors and these chairs are very wobbly on flat surfaces. If your kitchen or bar is carpeted, then you may be in luck! Also, touching these chairs reminded me of running nails down a chalkboard. EEK. Just awful. Overall we expected better quality from C&B. Bottom line: they look nice on the internet, not in your kitchen.

Beautiful, Classic Design
I love the design of my 29 " stools. I bought two for my kitchen and they complement my brushed steel utensils and appliances beautifully. It's a timeless, classic, contemporary design. The only problem I encountered with these stools was that they wobbled and had to return them about 4 times before I could get a pair that didn't wobble as much.

Nice looking, but not functional
These barstools are really great looking, but they lack in functionality on 2 points. 1. The footrest is too far back on the base, which makes it next to impossible to put your foot on the footrest without cutting off your circulation in the backs of your legs. 2. The texture of the metal runs front to back - this makes it difficult to slide in and out of the chair. The texture pulls at clothing and basically requires you to stand up on the chair rungs and place yourself down on the chair, which is not optimal. Bottom line - these barstools are very pretty and look great, but they are not good for every day use.

Excellent fit!
I had purchased and then returned several different generic cushions, finding all too uncomfortable or just too poorly fitting. These look terrific and fit perfectly. These stools are not the most comfortable but with these cushions...they really are! The black is good because they won't show stains but the covers do come off easily for washing.

Beautiful chairs
I have two of these at my kitchen island and the aluminum finish complements my stainless appliances so well! They are super light and easy to move around. I gave 4 stars only because they aren't that comfortable to sit in for long period of time; I think if the height was just an inch shorter they would work a bit better. I placed felt pads under each leg because the plastic "feet" seem like they might scratch my wood floors.

LOVE THESE!!
I bought 5 of these for my lakehouse. LOVE them. Did not do the cushions because it wasn't the look I was wanting. Everyone comments on how comfortable they are too!

Great value!
Although some of the reviews are mixed for this product, we found them to be an excellent value. They arrive fully assembled - - you take them out of the box and have a seat! We had no problems with the stools being 'wobbly' and they are lightweight and comfortable. The 25" height is perfect for our kitchen counter and they compliment the contemporary style of our eating/living area.

Wish Didn't Wobble
These chairs look nice and they are comfortable, but the legs are different lengths and so they wobble. They are definitely not worth the money.

junk
The chair is ok but the very sharp leg bottom sits a a very cheap piece of plastic which looks like it would wear out in a month. Then the exposed sharp aluminum leg would be free to do its damage to my very expensive wood floors. They should should have used metal inserts with levelers. I haope they take this junk back. DO NOT BUY THIS

Not best purchase ever (yet)
Bought 5 of these chairs. When the arrived, 3 of the 5 were unstable -- that is, they rock back and forth on a level surface. The crosspiece between the legs is not located to be a comfortable footrest, with the result that one's legs sort of dangle (this could be subject to one's height, I suppose, but its true for my whole family). Also, the aluminum is just plain cold to sit on -- don't recommend shorts. We've had the chairs several weeks and the company is working with us to correct the instability problem, but the early reviews are lukewarm at best.

The best! I have had these stools for over a year and they look as great as the day I took them out of the box. They have with survived football season parties and a new puppy! Going to purchase two more for extra seating when the crowd gets larger at the party. Light weight and easy to store.

want indestructible barstools?
I have four small kids and wanted to use the counter height bar in my kitchen for their meals. So I needed something with a back for safety, something that wouldn't be destroyed easily (like leather) and something that would clean up easily. These barstools are the perfect combination of the three and look great with chrome accents in our kitchen. They're easy enough for even my 2 year old to climb up on by herself.
