Great piece for the price
LOVE the Sloane system for staying organized in a small space. Our second bedroom doubles as an office and this piece, combined with the 18" bookcase, helps to keep all the office stuff corralled into one corner. Looks great, matches everything, is functional too! SUPER easy assembly and easy to move and install, too.

Great desk for a narrow space
I purchased this desk along with adjoining 18in shelves for a small space in a guest room. The desk assembled easily, look fantastic and feel solid and sturdy. It looks great and adds usable work space to a small area.

Great Storage - Tough to Clean
This is a great product. Its a clean, streamlined piece of furniture that doesn't take up a lot of space in my apartment. The only thing I am not happy with is that the dust is visibly noticeable within a day or two after I clean it. It seems to attract dust, or it sticks to it very easily.

Excellent desk
This desk is great. It saves room and can fit a ton of stuff. It took about 4 hours to assemble (one person) and the directions were a bit off (did not make clear what side goes where). Looks great and very functional.

Second time to Buy
Liked this shelf unit so much we bought more to use in our Den on each side of TV. Easy to put together an looks great.

Great product
I only gave it 4 stars because on a wood floor it tends to move. Another anchor is recommended for the bottom. Otherwise I love it, we bought two, one for our living room and one for our bedroom.

Best Desk Purchase
The desk is so compact it fits very well in the small room I placed it in. It looks good, and it is very functional.
It was very easy to assemble as well, and I would highly recommend this to anyone with limited space.
The quality of the desk is very good. I compared with other desks in the same category and found this to be the best quality in this category at this price point.

This desk is perfect for apartment living! It's great combined with the bookshelves or separate! I've tried it both ways in small apartments. :)

Perfect fit
We have been looking for a wine/liquor bar for quite sometime. Size was a major factor and this one was a perfect tit. We couldn't be more pleased.

Think out of the box
I suggested this for a client who had a small TV in his kitchen. The Sloan leaning desk is PERFECT as it allows him to view without the television being intrusive in the room. With framed pictures on the upper shelves, and the flat screen, it has the feel of a laptop as we hid all the wires.

Great purchase!
These were exactly what I was looking for! We actually have them on either side of our couch (Another C&B purchase!) and are using them as side tables. We put smaller tables under the desk portion to fill that space, a little. I'm very happy with the purchase! They were easy to put together - 2 hours for both. I accidently put one together backwards, but the mistake was easily corrected.

Love this desk - visually unobtrusive & functional
This leaning desk is perfect for both storage and for a good work space. My husband and I were considering getting a secretary desk, but since we were going to place the desk in our living room, wanted to have something a little lighter. This leaning desk fit the bill for that - looks like a shelf, and we decorated it as such, but now we have a convenient place to use our laptops.
My only complaint is that the finish does chip pretty easily. Just be careful with the edges.

Love it!!
I've been eyeing this bookshelf for months and finally purchased it. I bought 2 leaning bookshelf in Espresso. I must say I am not disappointed at all! It beautified my place! It did loose a star cause the wall mount provided to secure the shelf in place is not enough. I had to use PowerGrip to secure it to the wall to make sure it didnt eventually slide down with the weight of the books. other than that, Love Love Love it!!!!!!

Quality Item
The assembly was simple and quick, all components are well designed and fit perfectly. The packaging was outstanding to ensure no damage from shipping. There was even a small bag of spare hardware included in each box. And the finished product is just what I needed in my office: function, sturdiness, and style. It looks great!

Pretty, but flimsy.
I purchased this desk almost a year ago, so I've had it for a while now. It looks really nice in the space I put it in with 2 of the leaning shelving units, as well. However, the wood is extremely soft and flimsy. It makes the desk light and easy to move, but it also makes the desk super easy to scratch and accidentally chip. One of the corners chipped as I was leaning it against my wall and another chipped as I was moving my computer around and accidentally hit it (but not hard) against the leaning support. Putting the unit together was also a task because half of the screws provided turned, turned, and turned and completely stripped the wood without any effort on my part to do so. I'm sure there are better out there for less money.

Excellent for small spaces
This is really a good buy. We have a main bar in our basement, but I always wanted to display my bar glasses in my dinning area. I do not have a lot of space in my dinning and this is a perfect fit in my small space. Very easy to assemble. Was very well packaged. Worth every buck spent on it. A good buy.
On the whole a very classy product.

Great Buy for my Space Needs
One room in my home serves four purposes: home office, exercise room for rebounder and kettlebells, spare bedroom and "cattery." The Sloane leaning desk and bookcases doubled my storage in half the space. The quality was outstanding and assembly was easy. All holes were perfectly aligned and lined with metal, wonder of wonders there were extra screws included with the hardware. All pieces were beautifully packed against damage. Finished product looks elegant. Definitely recommend desk and bookcases.

Great Desk for a Multi-Task Space
I was really uncertain about what I wanted to do in my living room, as I have a small living room. The more and more I thought about it, and continued shopping for chairs, a lightbulb went off. I remembered seeing this leaning desk. I was able to put the desk in the corner by the couch, and I purchased a chair that could either be a desk chair or turn around and be a part of the living room. I utilized this desk to multi-task my space!
