Perfect for small space
I have a small apartment and this desk is ideal. It is surprisingly sturdy and is more than supportive enough to hold a 20" iMac. Assembly was very simple as well. Definitely recommend this.

great desk
I live in an NYC apartment and this desk works great in small spaces. It looks great and the fact that it doubles as a book shelf is just an added bonus.

Suprisingly Sturdy
I was unsure at first if this desk could handle the weight of a computer. When we put it together and anchored it to the was it was clear tha this item was sturdy. It has held everything from a MacBook to an IMAC. With room to spare.

Amazing Space Saver
I purchased the sloane leaning desk and one of the matching bookcases for my guest bedroom in my house. I had been trying to figure out a way to create more space in the room, so that it actually felt more like a guest bedroom and less of an office....this was the perfect solution.
Not only does it add great design to a room, it is an incredible space saver!

Perfect style, not made to last
I love the style of this desk and it fits perfectly in my modern small apartment. It was also quite easy to assemble. That said, I do not feel like this item is made to last. The surface scratched immediately and it has several gouges, even though I have been very careful with it.

Love it!
I ordered this desk to hold my laptop and other miscellaneous desk items. I wanted something that would fit in a smaller space, and this desk fits the bill. The grey finish is beautiful - almost black, but slightly distressed. The shelves are sturdy and hold fairly heavy items. The desk was easy to put together - I did so by myself in about 30 minutes. I am so pleased with this purchase - I recommend this desk to everyone I know!

Love it!
We have a small "nook" in our bedroom that is perfect for this desk . We started with just the desk and are ordering 2 bookcases as well. Easy to assemble (I did it w/o my husband!) I had no problems with the brackets.
It is probably easy to scratch if you are not careful but I do not think it is cheap looking at all.
I have gotten a ton of compliments on it. Very modern piece, great as a decoration instead of just a regular desk.

Nice, but on the cheaper side
This is a nice desk. It looks good in the space I placed it in and it was easy to assemble. One of my favorite things about C&B is that they provide all the necessary tools and extra parts for assembly, all neatly organized and labeled. That being said, the wood used for the shelves and desk is VERY soft, easy to scratch the finish off of, and cheap feeling. There are brackets provided to hold the desk to the "legs" and the wood used to make the desk shelf is so incredibly soft the screws just turned, turned, and turned. I'd recommend a bit of wood glue to secure the brackets in place. OR, I'd recommend Crate and Barrel use better quality wood. For this price I did expect better but I was filling a small space and got the job done.

Great Product
I've been eying this for a while and finally bought it. Great product, it looks amazing against my brick wall. Very easy to assemble, some bolts a few screws, nothing complicated.
