bad odor
While the furniture looks nice, the smell has not gone away after several months. It is horribly strong.

Lovely piece, weak screws
I purchased the Brighton 6-drawer dresser in white. Despite several reviews noting a bad smell, I had no problem with that (I did ask Customer Service in advance about what they recommended to get rid of the smell should I detect any, and they provided a couple of ideas, but I didn't need to use them).
Overall, it is a lovely drawer, with a nice, clean-white appearance. Relatively easy to assemble, though I found drawer construction to be a confusing process. My only complaint is that the screws are weak on several drawers, and occasionally pop out, causing the drawer to come apart. This is very disappointing. Perhaps a product of the wood quality? Nevertheless, it doesn't happen so frequently that I'm overwhelmed, but as a result, I do not know if I'll bother buying the matching nightstand. I'm satisfied with the look and size.

Satisfied with my purchase
I purchased complete set of Brighton furniture....two nightstands, this dresser, and bench. Wish there had been a headboard option rather than a bed or I would have picked that up, too. The piece was very easy to assemble and looks like a far more expensive item. My only disappointment is that you must be careful with the surface as it is easy to scratch, even by doing something as simple as tossing down a pair of earrings.

Great dresser!
Very happy with the dresser. Looks great and well built. Easy to put together. We have not noticed any bad smell as described by others.

Great Bedroom Furniture
Absolutely love the dresser! Also got the Chifforobe with it and they both are great pieces of furniture. Easy to assemble. Couldn't be happier with our purchase

Spacious, sturdy dresser
We bought this dresser for our bedroom, and it's been great: it's got a ton of room in the drawers and is well made and sturdy. The assembly was not difficult at all, and we did not have a problem with an ongoing odor from the finish as some have reported.

Nice Piece of Furniture
Arrived well packaged unlike some other places I've ordered furniture from. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Only drawback is the smell. The first few days I had to keep my windows open. The smell is diminishing now but it's still there after 4 days.

Great piece of furniture
I am very happy with the coffee six-drawer dresser and two nightstands that we purchased for our guest room. The pieces went together quickly and easily and the dresser is especially sturdy. My dad is a woodworker and even he was impressed with the quality! Also, the coffee color is beautiful - very dark chocolate, exactly what I was looking for

Easy Assembly and Sturdy
I purchased the dresser, bed and 2 nightstands for a guest bedroom. My husband and I assembled all pieces within 2.5 hrs. No missing parts; very easy to assemble. Great value.
