Worried it will not stand up to use
I love the design of this chest. However, when it was delivered on April 3 or 4, it came with scratches on the front. The replacement item came last week and had multiple scratches on the front as well as a badly installed pull. The replacement chest was clearly not new, but rather a floor sample or someone else's reject. I am still waiting for the perfect, new, chest to arrive. I am now worried that the veneer will not stand up to daily wear and tear. It's an expensive item and should be well made.

Survived a move, can probably survive generations
We bought this to go with our Steppe Collection bed and nightstands.. one of the best purchases we have made at C&B. The quality behind this piece is extraordinary. It is SO heavy but to me, that's a sign of a well-crafted piece of furniture that can survive generations of use and decor. It's funky yet classic, and holds a TON of clothes. Love this piece!

Well Made, Looks Great, Lot's of Space
I needed a new chest of drawers that matched the rest of my furniture and gave me plenty of room. The Ferris dresser definitely fits the bill. Also it looks great and is very well made. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Beautifully functional!
We needed a dresser that provided a lot of storage space within a compact footprint. This chest absolutely fit the bill. Its lines are clean and lovely, and the quality is terrific.
Be warned that this is not a light or flimsy piece of furniture. It is heavy. It is not something that I will be moving around the room in fits of whimsy.

Beautiful and solid
I love this piece. Even though it's part of a bedroom set, I bought it for my living room/office. The many drawers and cabinets make it a great organizer. My one criticism is that the shelves in the cabinet are not adjustable. Otherwise, perfect.

Love my dresser!
A wonderful piece - goes beautifully with my eclectic furniture, holds a ton, looks very sleek. The drawers glide smoothly, the doors are quiet, the dresser is a joy to use. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Big and beautiful
I love this dresser so much! My boyfriend talked me into it and I was really hesitant. However, it's made a huge difference in my ability to keep my clothes tidy (I need all the help I can get). There's a ton of organizational capability with this piece and it's kept me really on track. The three drawers behind the cabinet door are especially great for small items like socks. It is massively heavy though - bend with the knees when you try to move it even a little bit across the floor otherwise you'll pay the next day!

Stunning piece
This chest is a stunning piece of furniture! I love the very unique and elegant design, including the many functional drawers and versatile storage space. I combined it with the Dash bed and nightstands.
As the other reviewer said, it is very heavy. Actually, mine was damaged when the 3rd party delivery guys were taking it to the second floor. (So, extra care and strength is needed when moving it, especially upstairs!) However, Crate and Barrel has the best customer service and I got it replaced without any problem. C&B never fails!

Great Design, Highly Practical
This chest is big, bold, innovative, and stylish. It's also filled with enough drawers, doors and shelves to be totally practical. Be warned, though: This piece is heavy thanks to its gorgeous mahogany. The only minor fault is that I wish there were more contrast between the dark edging and the lighter drawers and doors.

Ferris Rocks
I put this piece flush alongside the matching Seven-Drawer dresser and it looks fantastic. A large plasma TV stands on the lower dresser, and it fits great. I love the eclectic look of the asymmetrical and differently sized drawers, but it still looks modern/Asian which goes with our decor. The drawers roll in and out on their tracks LIKE BUTTAH! Only drawback is that because it is a very dark wood, it shows dust easily.

Beautiful and Practical
This chest of drawers looks amazing and gives me tons of drawer space without taking up too much real estate in my bedroom. The design thrills me every time I see it.

Best Bedroom Furniture Hybrid!
Best dresser/wardrobe combo--both tall (but not too tall) and long (but not too long)--with combination of large and small drawers, shelves, and cabinet doors. Dramatic square shape and lovely finish (the two tones make the piece interesting and subtle) along with slim profile make this chest a better-than-perfect solution to bedroom storage and decor.
