Great dressers!
Really nice dressers, with a beautiful finish/color. We bought this along with the rest of the Steppe line. The drawers all move in and out, and shut solidly without slamming or any noise when moving (a big plus in my book!). Construction is solid and I would definitely recommend them to others!
The space in the tall chest is great, but not too tall to be usable. Overall a great dresser!

Smelly Dresser
This Steppe dresser is a very stylish and good looking piece, but the only problem is I cannot tolerate the odor from the finish/paint left behind. I've had the unit for at least 4-5 months and the smell is still there. I have to open the drawers every single day for a few hours to air it out. Unfortunately, the odor has gotten into my clothes as well, and I feel like I'm wearing the scent all day long. It's such an unpleasant feeling!

Fantastic Dresser!
We choose this high dresser along with the other Steppe furniture this past fall when we redecorated our Master Bedroom. Love the finish, the drawers pull in and out quietly and easily. The drawer space is deep enough that it really holds a lot!

I bought this dresser about six months ago. The dresser is absolutely gorgeous, dark beautiful wood, well constructed. The delivery guys were really awesome too.

Beautiful Piece, but Strong Odor
This is a beautifully designed piece. Great clean, modern lines. It looks terrific in our room.
But a big downside is the very strong odor coming from it. I am guessing it is the dark stain/varnish put on at the factory. I've had this dresser for more than a month now and it still smells so strongly I cannot put my clothes in it! I can't imagine it is healthy to breathe in all the fumes.
I just called Crate and Barrel customer service (always very nice people) and they offered to replace it or suggested putting coffee beans in the drawers. I will try the coffee beans. If that doesn't work, unfortunately I will have to return it.
