So disappointed
We bought this sofa and almost immediately the front of the frame started sagging. It bows out when anyone sits on it and you can't bend it back into place. The support that goes across the front of the couch under the cushions is not strong enough.
It's a nice looking sofa and the pull out bed is comfortable, but the sofa is horribly uncomfortable. Don't buy it! We're looking to replace ours now and it's only 3 years old.

Attractive and comfortable sleeper
I have had several sleeper/couches over the years and this one is by far the best. It is very well constructed and still looks brand new although it's over 5 years old. I'm told the mattress is comfortable for a sleeper/couch and the mechanism is easy to use. The only downside is something I have found with every sleeper/couch, and that is the cushions are high, having to sit on top of the mechanism. My feet don't reach the floor when I sit with my back against the back of the couch and I find the cushions seem to teeter rather than sit firmly on the underside. For those requiring a sleeper/sofa, this is probably as good as it gets and I would recommend it.

Money waster
Like the other one-star reviews, I too am disappointed and angry about the quality of this sleeper sofa. Sitting on this couch is an exercise in misery. I am beside myself with disappointment and frustration at having spent so much money on such a cruddy product. Think twice and then think again before taking the plunge. It's just not worth your investment.

Nice Looking Sofa but Design Flaw
I bought this sofa in a sleeper and it is a beautiful looking sofa. However, I am having the same problem that many other purchasers are having--the sofa cushions sink into the bedding mechanism and make it extremely uncomfortable to sit in. I had a Crate and Barrel representative out to my house (great customer service as usual). He found nothing wrong with my sofa itself and the bedding mechanism and said it is the way it was designed. So, if you buy this sofa, I would recommend not getting it in a sleeper.

Just what I needed
I was looking for a sleeper sofa, and this is the only one that I really liked. Not only is is really comfortable, but the mechanism that one uses to pull the bed in and out is really smooth and not very heavy.
Surprisingly, the mattress is really comfortable as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Really expensive for the quality
We purchased this sofa in October for our new apartment and already have contacted Customer Service because we are frustrated with the cushions and so disappointed that we spent so much money on a couch that we hate. The couch is beautiful and we love the fabric but the couch is not comfortable to sit on. When you sit on the center cushion you sink down into the couch and the side cushions are even more uncomfortable because half the cushion sits high on the frame of the couch (near the armrests) and the other half sinks into the center. It seems like the couch needs some type of support under the cushions to make them all an even height. It also seems like the cushions need triple the stuffing. The sleeper part of the sofa is fine; it is easy to take out for guests and somewhat comfortable, but the primary purpose of the couch is to sit on, and because of this we would not recommend this couch.

Great Solid Sleeper
We have purchased two of these sofas - both are in great shape after 5 years. I have heard that the sleeper bed is very comfortable. You won't regret purchasing this couch it is solidly made and will last.
