Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect size! I ordered this wooden rack and it was the first thing out of the box! I use it to keep my cutting boards handy for food preparation. It is compact enough to keep out on the counter and, even though designed for plates, works well with cutting boards... I put the larger boards in upright and it holds them in place, too. It was easy to put together and I didn't need to use any adhesive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I needed somethign to help organize my platters and large plates in a closet. I've been stacking them for years and I can't believe I didn't get one of these sooner. This is great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better Got the plate stands in a few weeks ago...so excited to use it for my large dinner plates (from crate and barrel as well). But...Plates wouldn't stand up in it. Every time I put them in, the plates would all fall forward. Husband wanted to send them back, but I tried to fix them. I ended up glueing thick felt to the bottom of the front end. This created enough of a lift angle that the plates stay upright. The design of these stands is poor. They might work well with small plates, but NOT good for the larger ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Organizer I have been looking for a way to display my plates and at an affordable price. This fits the bill on both counts. I have a collection of Fiesta in multi colors. I love that I can select the plate I want without lifting up the whole stack. Great product and great price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for organization! I bought three of these about a month ago to use in organizing the lids for my pots and pans. The only way they could be better is if they came already painted white! For pictures go to: http://bit.ly/1L9bDLE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked beautifully! I bought two of these racks to organize and display my plates in a glass-front cabinet. Everything fit well and the overall effect is beautiful. Very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to display my Decoupage Plates I bought two of these plate racks to use on my display of Decoupage Plates in a Arts Co-Op. The racks are well constructed, sturdy and have good clean lines. They allow the visual appeal I was striving for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought these to use in my cabinets with glass doors. I thought it would make my plates show up better and look pretty in the cabinets. I was disappointed to find that my plates will not stand upright in the racks. They lean forward and do not look very pretty. :0(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item for the price! I was in another store and they were using these for their dish displays. I inquired on how to purchase and they said they didn't carry them but found the place they bought them. They wanted $10 each. I happily purchased all 12 (small and large) at an awesome price, from Crate and Barrel !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully organized platters This is great for organizing platters which were once stacked and difficult to see and get down for use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plate Rack has many uses! I bought the plate rack in both sizes and have been very pleased. I use the larger one for my cutting boards and it works great. I like the clean, modern look of this rack, it could work with different types of decor - modern, industrial or country. It could also be used for books or folders. And the price is very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile and reasonably priced Perfect for my use. I can finally display and easily use my collection of serving plates/platters. I wish there was one available a little larger to display my bowls, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last a long time I've had these for years and they're still holding up fairly well (only lost 1 peg).I don't know why everyone keeps mentioning that they can only get 7 plates in a rack. I have the larger rack and I can put at least 2 and sometimes 3 plates in each slot. Maybe if your plates have a large raised rim, that might cause a problem, but I have a lot of dishes in my racks. It is so much easier to pull a plate from the rack, rather than trying to grip and pull from a stack. They look better and take up less room.I'm going to get some extra racks for my cutting boards/cookie sheets/lids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job; wish it were slightly more durable Glad that I ordered this handy tool. I agree that the item could use a few enhancements... Odd that both options hold 7 plates... and I wish the vertical rods were a little heavier than 1/4". First "drop" on the floor broke one off. Glued back on, but now uncertain if it will hold the last plate up. Am weighing options: great price for what it is, or make my own from store-bought wood.
