This delightful high-rise inn takes inspiration from the glorious historic hotels on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Each of the building's 24 windows doubles as a tiny drawer to create a three-dimensional advent calendar. Every drawer is marked with a silver number corresponding to the day of the month as it counts down the days to Christmas and reveals a daily treat or small gift (not included). Skilled artisans assemble pieces of laser-cut wood by hand to create the city hotel's graceful facade, dormer windows and steep snow-capped room, lovingly decorated for the holidays with a petite beribboned wreath and light-up garland.
