Emulating the filmy appearance of wax-based encaustic works, our Hidden Gems prints layer semi-translucent paste on paper. Applied with a wide spatula, broad strokes of the paste veil underlying printed and paint-enhanced brown and grey shapes for a neutral, nuanced and textured appearance. The two glicée prints in the set are finished by hand and presented under glass in taupe-finished wood frames.
