Flip, stack, serve and feast. Inspired by handmade pieces from his California studio, artist James Lewis designed this versatile dinnerware collection just for us. This ingenious set based on the Japanese donabe pairs two small-batch ceramic pieces glazed in charcoal black. Top the low bowl with the serving bowl to keep bread rolls, chicken wings or rice warm. Flipped over, the larger bowl serves soups, braised meats or hearty grain salads with the low bowl as a lid. Interior ridges and broad rims ensure the bowls fit together snugly. The Main Dish combines with other gorgeous pieces from our modular Jamesware collection to expand the stacking and serving possibilities.
