Referencing the Portuguese word "linha" meaning "line," our speckle-glazed stoneware is a testament to the artistry of the Portuguese artisans who handcraft each piece. Each stoneware dinner plate is trimmed and polished by hand before receiving a coat of off-white reactive glaze. Once fired, the ceramic artists hand paint matte navy blue stripes around the rim before a second firing. The results enliven the rustically shaped plate with a unique display of flecks and free-flowing lines.
