Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, washed and ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon zest, crumbled goat cheese or grated parmesan cheese, for topping (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Scatter the green beans on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven when the beans are slightly charred and tender. Serve hot.
