Lots of Compliments
We received this duvet cover as a wedding present and we get compliments from all of our visitors. My husband was a little skeptic because he thought it looked a little busy, but once it is laid out on a queen bed, it is perfect.

love the pattern
We received the queen size duvet for our wedding 3 years ago and loved it. This winter we upgraded to a California king sized down comforter so we needed to purchase a new comforter cover. I considered getting a different cover and shopped every box and virtual store I could think of. For a cover that size I didn't want a solid color (too much color and too boring). I kept coming back to the Lucia duvet cover and ended up buying it agin in the king size. The pattern is fun, the fabric is very soft (and gets softer with each wash). The only issues we've had are that the stitching has come apart a little (easy enough to fix) and two of the buttons have come off (also easy to fix). One improvement would be to include internal ties in the corner to keep the comforter from shifting around.

Well worth it - great print!
I ordered the queen duvet and two standard shams during the 20% off bedding event.
I love the print and the quality of the bedding - it really brings my room together and was well worth the money. I love the print and plan on using this bedding for years to come.

Happy with duvet, cover and shams
Very pleased with the Lucia bed linens. Love the colors, it is a nice change added to my neutral room colors. Love the fact that it is washable and the cotton is very soft.

Disappointed
I currently own a set of Lucia King Bedding and I love it! Alas it was beginning to wear out, so I ordered a brand new set - but I am so disappointed! Why? NUMBER 1, SIZE: The size of the Duvet Cover has been trimmed by 2" (it is now 106 x 96), not 108 x 96 as listed in the current description. A highlight for me of the Lucia bedding was that it was a bit wider to accommodate the dimensions of my down comforter. NUMBER 2, FABRIC: The previous fabric had a supple weight and sheen and the colors were (and still are after many washings!) vibrant. The fabric now appears to be much lighter weight cotton and the colors are dull. My old Lucia bedding is brighter than this new version. I am SO bummed out! I expect a certain level of quality from C&B and I'm willing to pay it. I wish they hadn't altered a product that was already perfect.

Beautiful, but be careful
I loved the material and design - it is very soft and the colors are absolutely beautiful. However, while putting the duvet into the cover the the seam near the buttons on both sides ripped the fabric! I was devastated, since I just spent so much! I did some stitching to support the rips from getting bigger, but because it wasn't a seam I know it is only a temporary fix.

nice colors and fabric
After thinking about buying this duvet for several months, I finally decided I needed to have it to complete my bedroom redecoration. The colors are lovely and can be used in a variety of color schemes. The fabric is superior and the size is generous. I highly recommend this duvet.

Lucia Duvet Cover Review
In addition to being a beautiful duvet cover, it is extremely easy to maintain. I just finished washing it and it only took about 40 min to completely dry. It was virtually wrinkle free and ready for use out of the dryer. I would not hesitate to buy another one. Love it!!!

Beautiful Bedding

Better in Person
I saw this duvet cover on the website and passed it by several times. Finally, I decided to check it out and I clicked on it to see the other views. Close-up it looks so much nicer than the panned out view. I read the reviews and saw that people felt is was complimentary with a neutral pallet. That's what I have and it is great! Very rich and adds color and detail. Also, very soft and feels good on the skin.

I finally bought this duvet cover and I love it. I did not buy the shams because the pattern is so busy that I thought a solid color would look better, and it does!
The fabric is very soft, the colors are rich and the pattern is gorgeous. I definitely recommend this item.

Love the pattern, colors, and feel of the fabric. Have trouble keeping the duvet secured to the cover......the duvet slides out of the ties daily.

beautiful duvet!
I love the pattern and colors of this duvet. It makes it very easy to incorporate multiple colors into a bedroom. Unlike my other cb duvet this fabric doesn't show wrinkles and holds it's shape. My only critique is that is very difficult to find a duvet that stays in place. I had to find duvet clips to clip in the corners. Besides that I absolutely love this duvet!

Most Attractive Duvet Ever
I had to wait several weeks after seeing Lucia to purchase the bedding. Therefore, I feel very fortunate the collection did not sell out before I bought the duvet, and standard and king shams. I would've purchased euro shams too, had they been offered.
Out of all my bedding, and I own a whole lot of really nice bedding, Lucia is my favorite. Everyone who sees Lucia on my bed exclaims about the pattern, colors, and fabric! I find the design mesmerizing. The colors are great, and match so many different colors of my favorite sheets.
At full price, Lucia is a bargain and well worth the price. At discounted price, Lucia is a steal!
Lucia on my bed is the envy of my friends. In fact, several are in the process of purchasing Lucia for themselves.

beautiful duvet cover
I purchased the king size lucia duvet cover and shams and am thrilled with how they look in my bedroom. I was looking for something pretty but not too feminine since this is my husbands room also and it was a perfect choice. My husband even commented that he likes it! I added sage and deep purple accent pillows as well as ivory euro shams which all really complete the look. I was a little hesitant to pay so much for it, but feel that it was worth the price.

Best Purchase Ever

A Keeper
I was on the hunt for a new comforter for the longest time. Had not really considered a duvet; they seemed weird and I had heard that they didn't really stay together well. But when I got the email from Crate and Barrel and saw the Lucia Bedding on the first page and fell in love...then saw it was a Duvet, I knew I was going to have to try one. I read the reviews and every single one was positive. Some even specifically addressed the duvet and said it was so easy.
So, off I went to the store that was an hour away from my home. I refused to pay $35 to ship the duvet cover and two shams, along with the queen duvet filler. It took all of about 5 minutes to get it all assembled and I am absolutely THRILLED with the set, the colors, the weight of the whole ensemble, etc...
I do think it is a bit pricey, even on sale, when you consider what you pay at some of the department stores. But, that said, I had been looking a long time, and hadn't found what I was looking for. Now I have, and the colors are vibrant, and the print is perfect, and the weight is just right. The thread count makes it feel cool and smooth, and I think it will be perfect for spring as well.
I highly recommend this Duvet Cover, along with the matching shams, of course. And we did go ahead and get the Crate and Barrel Duvet Filler, so that the ties would have a place to tie onto, and it's all good. It stays in place fine, and the buttons are all staying put. Go for it!!
